Suggestion: Immersive Mode Shortcut
Feature Request: Add a shortcut key to toggle Immersive Mode, hiding all HUD elements for a clean, cinematic driving experience.
Description
Currently, players can achieve an immersive, HUD-free experience by manually disabling various UI elements under Settings > Gameplay & HUD (e.g., Lap Time, Position, Score, Pit Stops, Speedometer, Map, Track Limits). However, this is a tedious process, especially when players may want to toggle the HUD back on occasionally—just like how telemetry is quickly accessible via the down-arrow shortcut.
A dedicated shortcut (e.g., up-arrow) to instantly hide or show all HUD elements would greatly enhance immersion while driving.
Proposed Functionality
• Shortcut Key (e.g., Up-Arrow): Toggles between full HUD visibility and a completely clean screen.
• HUD-Free Mode: Disables all UI elements, providing a cinematic, video-like driving experience.
• Quick Toggle: Instantly restores the HUD when needed, without navigating through multiple menu options.
Benefits
Enhances immersion by letting players fully appreciate Forza Motorsport’s stunning graphics.
Convenience—removes the need to repeatedly adjust multiple HUD settings manually.
Easy implementation —likely a minor change but a big quality-of-life improvement .
Final Thoughts:
This feature would be a small but impactful improvement to the gameplay experience, allowing players to enjoy the game’s visuals without distraction while keeping the HUD accessible when needed. Would love to see this added!
