I'm back!

Hey guys!

I’m NolDaMan, and some of you may remember me, whether from my FH1/FM4 photography, or my Xbox Gift Card giveaways here about 7-8 months back.
I just lost interest in Forza 4 and finished Forza Horizon, therefore I had no use for the forums. However, I very soon will be back! I have purchased a Forza Horizon 2 Xbox One bundle. I likely won’t use it until Christmas, however. I got an amazing deal on it (One, Kinect, FH2, Dance Central, 1 Month of LIVE for $329).
Anyways, you guys had better get ready! Haha. See you guys soon.

Glad to hear you will be back.

Welcome back. Hope your return is what you hope it to be.

Any huge changes I should know of?

This is your first Xbox One yeah?

If so note that the Xbox One has some cool features but sadly some seem to not work well with some games.

I recommend:

  1. Going into the console settings and under power and startup change it to power save mode. This means it will take longer to boot each time you turn it on but it also means it is a clean boot each time and it minimises the chance of various issues cropping up.

  2. If a game says “Ready to Start” ignore it. Always wait until a game is 100% installed and updated before playing it.

  3. When donwloading updates or dlc for Forza games stay on that screen until 100% installed / downloaded.

  4. Never choose to interrupt a save file sync. Even if it looks like its frozen leave it to do its thing. In Forza games a full resync can take hours.

Thanks Eduardo! I’ll remember all of that.

I haven’t been here for a while either, but I got Forza 5 now! Oh wait, I just got The Crew and -finally- retired from Horizon. Anyways, I’m sure there are a lot of people playing The Crew.

Not for long and even then it depends on if/when it lets you in to start with and if it chooses not to freeze.

Well, there isn’t many people playing The Crew. Great game. But if only the gamers could accept the invites to multiplayer events…

My theory is that the gamers bought it on the PC.

welcome back my friend, its great to hear from u
