I’ve notice a lot of people saying they are missing and complaining about starting over because their progress and cars from Xbox 360 are gone. Do not fear.
All you need to do is log onto your 360 goto storage and activate cloud storage of not already activated. From there copy all your Forza Horizon saved games and whatever files it will allow you to copy to the cloud
Next time you load the game on Xbox one it will sync and you’ll have all you things and progress

wish i could go back several years and upload mine to the cloud.
lost my xbox to red ring years ago, and my saves with it.
shouldnt take me long to get back to where i was though. seems i didnt do that much in the game… probably just wasnt into racers as much back then.

i tried that and have gotten nothing! it says synicing but when it starts I’m still at level 1 and might have messed up my 360’s game saves too
Sadly, I have done all of that and downloaded all of my dlc to the One, but it will not sync when I go into the game. I did my husband’s save file from 360 the same way and his synced first try without a problem. I have tried uninstalling everything and then reinstalling everything, but it did not work.

Every time I try this it tells me that this cannot be done! It is getting really frustrating! I wonder if someone is actually trying to fix the servers, or they just don’t care!
There is an issue with those directions provided - NEVER try to copy a forza save, MOVE them only. Given you have already tried to copy it it may now be corrupt and hence useless.
After looking through my Horizon save I noticed that on my actual game save it says incomplete. Does anyone know why? I have a feeling that is why I can transfer my save to the cloud which is annoying because I really would like to have all my cars and DLC! Does anyone else have this problem and know of a fix?
In the morning I am going to have to re hook up my xbox 360 to a router and see if I can get this to work. What is bizzare though is that my storefront, speed camera, and everything is still intact, but I had to start from the beginning. I think you may need to have xbox live gold though which will suck as to get my data from 3,4, and horizon ill have to pay a few bucks for gold on my 360.
The speed camera records etc are still there because those are always in the servers, whereas the other things are tied to your hard drive, unless you saved it into the cloud saves.
