I need some help on controller settings

My XBox Elite 2 controller just failed so I’m setting up a new one, and I need to switch the thumb sticks so that the right stick steers and the left stick looks around. That’s all, nothing else. So I go to the controller settings, choose a profile and switch RS to LS, LS to RS and try to save it. And this is what I get:
“Missing key bindings”
“Some key bindings are missing”

This happens on ANY change to the profile, not just the change I want to make.

I brought up the XBox accessory app to configure the controller, but I can’t find a way to just switch the sticks there. So I’m stuck unless I can figure out to change and save an FH5 profile. Can anyone help me?

Sometimes when you reassign a control, it will automatically unassign functions that were assigned to that control. Have you tried looking down the list of all settings and see if any have are required, but not assigned?

Yes assigning a new bind will sometimes unassign a “mandatory” bind. Check all down the list.
