I need help.

So the other day I bought Forza Horizon 3 on disc, I was looking forward to it because I really enjoyed the two previous games. So I got home and inserted the disc then the game started to install, but shortly afterwards the game just sat in the queue. This isn’t unusual considering most games do before they need to update, but after a while, there was no pop up telling me to update the game. I then decided to wait 10mins, sure enough, when I returned it was still in a queue. so I decided that I would play a game that I had downloaded, but a pop-up told me that it took to long to start, so I tried again same thing ( so I tried all of my games and the exact same thing happened with all of them). I then decided to cancel Forza Horizon 3 and something strange happened, all my games started to work. After this, I decided to install while my Xbox was disconnected from the router and the install worked perfectly with no problems, so I decided to reconnect to Xbox Live. I was then told to update Forza Horizon 3, so I started the update. The update was around 7.25 gigs, so I thought this wouldn’t take too long and left it for an hour or two when I came back to check the progress it was still at 0%.

So I left it for another hour and still no progress had been made. Now, of course I’m not blaming my games not starting on Forza but I thought that was something worth keeping in. If you have any question about my problems don’t hesitate to ask.

have you tried hard resetting / cold booting your console at all yet

Yep

Yep.

Try deleting ALL game files for Horizon 3, then hard reset then try to install again.

I’ll try.

How are you doing in the hard drive capacity department? I’ve had a similar issue with a game in the internal hdd trying to install and being stuck in the queue because it didn’t have enough space. I moved it to the external hdd and it worked fine afterwards.

Fine, I have an external hard drive with about 3.5 terabytes of space.
