I have been playing forza since fms3 but never really got into drifting. I just got fms6 and want to start getting into drifting. I’m looking for some help/ tips on where to start, cars, tuning… thanks for any help!
Good cars to start with(imo):
SC 300
S15
R33 GTR
2013 Shelby GT 500
FRS/BRZ/GT86
Jaguar F-type
BHP ~600
Camber -1° front and back
Ride height set to minimum
Don’t really want to go further with tuning advice since it seems I run my cars a bit different from everyone else’s style.
Personal favorite cars:
Lexus RC-F with 5.2L V10
Ford Squire Wagon w/ Hemi V8
R35 GTR maxed out (950 bhp)
Alfa Romeo Guilietta
E46 M3
Infinity IPL-G
Getting back into sliding myself so I can’t recommend which cars but a few classic’s:
Mazda RX7
Nissan 240sx
Nissan 370z
Nissan Silvia’s (S14, S15)
Pretty much anything RWD, 550-750hp is plenty. Keep your build relatively simple, it’ll easier to tune as you go (i.e. only change one setting at a time).
BHP 550-750
Camber = -1 degree, play with this as it allows for more/less grip when sliding.
Go low on your suspension, lower center of gravity (I have toyed with this on heavier cars, like the '15 Stang)
Keep the front suspension stiffer than rear, as the front tires slide as well. I won’t go over specifics of my tune with numbers, because it truely does change person to person depending entirely on drive style.
Hope this helps! Add me and lets drift and figure it out!
