Looking to start drifting. Can someone help me direct me to which car and tune I should use?
all of the s-chassis cars are great for drifting. the e36 m3 is also good for begginers
as far as tuning go try to aim at around 500-700 hp, with street tires and about 275 width in the back you should be good. throw on 2-3 degrees of negatrive camber in the front, negative 0.5-1 in the back. toe should be around positive 0.8 in the front and 0.4 in the back.
if you go with the rally suspention which i recommend make the stiffness in the front as much as you can (500-700) and about 100-200 less in the back. leave damping and lock the diff and you should be ready.
if you are on the lower side of hp you might want to increase rear tire preassure a little bit or increase the rear camber.
mess around with the final drive to make the car able to slide in both 2nd and 3rd. often this will need to be lowered slighty to prevent having to shift mid drift
this is what works for me and you will learn to fine tune your car after your prefferenses after a while, just play around with suspention stiffnes, camber and toe until you feel you have a stable car going sideways.

My current (and favourite) setup is my 97’ M3. You can get it for free in the midnight battle. Mine is completely maxed out with a twin turbo V8, best tires you can get, rally suspension, etc. My tune is lowered all around with full stiffness, -5.0 degrees all around and all wheel drive but 100% to the rear. i find it super easy and controlled to drift, and you can get mad angle because of the rally springs. i’ve put hours into this car and i’ve found this tune works best for me
Someone asked for something like this earlier and I replied as well, but several cars can be turned into a drifter. I have gotten 3 stars on the PR drift events in the 17 Raptor and 97 Civic Type R.
