I love the game, but It saddens me

I’m a busy man, and I have almost no life due to my job. The only fun time I allow myself is on this game that I can play even in the middle of the day when I need to take a break. I’m old, so other types of games aren’t really my thing and it takes a lot for me to just play a game, I feel guilty when I do.

I really do love FM, and I may rant a lot, but only because I care. I wish the game was more stable because I know I put a lot on the shoulders of this game, but it’s a product I paid and I’d like to think I can count on it when it matters.

The latest bugs are breaking the game, I allow myself 4 to 5 races a day, but with the latest bugs I can barely do one or 2. Qualify pole, disconnected, select car, hangs, and so on… Turn 10, please, fix

“old man with few time” sounds quite familiar to me :joy:

In my experience from Xbox Series S this game is rock solid in multiplayer. I don’t remember last time the game crashed during a race. In almost one year from the launch, this happened very few times.

I understand that the PC graphics is much better, but the gameplay is the same.

Do you play from PC?

I definitely feel you, I’m in school, working, starting family. It makes me way less tolerant of game issues that waste my time. Now combine asking a lot of my time to do races, when I would rather drive other cars on other tracks, to unlock a FOMO car while dealing with bugs and crashes and I think you get the state of this forum. A lot of unhappy players.
And yeah, I freaking love forza that’s the kicker, the car list is great overall really, graphics are good, feels good on controller, and then you scratch the surface and it starts to fall apart :frowning:

I also love the game and the game seems to love me too, because it is now very stable and no longer crashes.
PC, Steam.

@nfectnfinite Have you done stability tests for CPU, graphics card and RAM?
Do you play on a PC at all?

If you have OC, take the OC out. To test if that helps.

Ram can be a secret culprit, Ram can run even though it is partially defective.

Aida64 contains a stability test, you can click on what you want to test.

Test the individual components individually, so always leave only one tick in the box.

I hope DeepL translates well now. If you don’t understand something, feel free to ask.

Patch 11 fixed the crashing for me. Honestly it’s my favorite update so far. Fixed awful graphics bug at night, crashing, and seriously freshened up the MP experience.

Couldn’t be happier.

Sorry to hear this man, what exactly is happening? Have you logged it in the trouble shooting page? There’s currently an open ticket for an infinite load screen when changing cars but it’s resolved by a quit game on XSX not sure if it’s different on PC

Late careers are hard to manage, I wish I’d done more younger

Yeah I do, it’s the pc I work from as well, so it’s beefy, It shouldn’t have any issues handling any type of game.

That’s exactly what saddens me

Everything’s fine really, thanks for the help though!

Yeah, quitting the game resolves the issue too, but after 3 or 4 attempts, and after 2 attempts I’m already out of will power. But thanks for the help though!

No point in reporting kiddo. They do not care.

It’s happening around 1 in 7 races on XBOX and is defo yet another issue caused by quick resume.

Anyway hope it gets sorted for you my mate .

Amen. Let’s not forget the game STILL crashing to dashboard from time to time.
It isn’t stable at all, at least on Series X.

They said they fixed it, and it was indeed fixed with update 10 or 11, but then with the 12th I started seeing again a few graphical bugs with surfaces blinking with some specific cars, tracks, weather conditions and time of day. It also happens with the background car in menus (–> ex: Ferrari 355, low front bumper/carbon lip)

What also irritates me is that the game keeps putting me in some empty (or almost empty) lobbies near the end of the countdown. So I have to quit, waste precious seconds and find a new one full of players, before the race becomes unavailable.

I thing it’s your hardware. Crashed once for me this summer. Other than that - perfect. I think however that there are some hackers that play online that can drop your connection or say your controller disconnected if your beating them.

Hackers? :joy::joy::joy:

I mean, the way it randomly happens when using a wired Xbox controller, with cables and USB ports tested to be in good physical and electrical condition… Usually only happens when I’m losing winning a race and so infrequently that it’s practically a non-issue.

I’ll jump on this conspiracy theory.

Edit: dyslexia strikes again and winning became losing
