So I love Forza and of course I bought Forza 7 but right now it’s basically unplayable. The game crashes so much. I have lost so many rewards and mods due to game crashes. I literally just did 50 laps of Daytona in the Ford Hoonicorn Mustang with mods that would have given me +190% cr and 5000xp. I won. What did I win? Nothing! Why? Because the game F****** crashed again! This has happened several times. I have been trying to grind and get somewhere and I can’t! Even in career the game just randomly crashes and I have to play events over and over. Seriously. At this point I am ready to throw in the towel and bug Microsoft for a refund until i get it unless somebody will do something for me. You guys have been good about helping me with issues in the past so i have remained a loyal customer and forza player but please do something! I don’t care if you reward me something. I dont care what you do to help or how you do it but please. I seriously see no point in wasting hours upon hours of my time! I paid for this! Please help me somehow!
The constant crashing is and has been an on going issue from Day 1. Only options are to refund, wait it out, or play another game. Myself I have pretty much put this game on the shelf until they actually fix the crashing. Can’t even finish a 4 lap race on career mode without it crashing. Like yourself have wasted quite a few hours due to the crashes. Anyhow, I know not much help, but least you arent alone in this boat.
Yeah unfortunately I went through the same thing dude. I gave up after a day or two of trying to get it to run without crashing. Got a refund from the windows store but im still gutted that its been released in this condition. From what ive been reading it sounds like a a memory leak.
Might pick it back up after all the bugs and crashes have been patched out.
Yeah i appreciate you guys letting me know I’m not alone. It is some small consolation. I mean I just love Forza and I looked forward to this game so much!!! I am so disappointed in it! A lot of the game is great but you can’t finish anything! Idk how people are level 180 or w.e. When i was lucky to get to ten. Sure it is some tiny consolation that occasionally after the crash i get free level rewards which makes no sense at all but it is something. But I don’t care about the level rewards I occasionally get after a crash! I just want to play.
thought you didn’t want anything except the game to be fixed for you to play it, that changed quickly
I’ve had it since release and have had barely an issue on both Xbox and PC, not sure if it could have anything to do with your PC settings or specifications since you haven’t given them as is necessary with all support help

I have an Xbox One so what specs exactly am I supposed to give? My net runs at a consistent 80mb/s and I have no issues with any other games or apps. I do want then game fixed, but now that I clearly see it is a mass issue I think turn 10 should own up to the mistakes that have been made and give buyers a little apology gift for their troubles. If you buy a car and it constantly died would you chalk it up as a loss? I personally just want my mods and xp that i missed out on. Just for one 50 lap race. Not all of the ones it screwed me for just one. I want to know that when i give my money for a product that the company appreciates my time and business.
had to search through all your threads to find your specs but your PC barely meets minimum requirements but your trying to run maximum options, wonder why you are/were having issues

You can just click on a users profile, and view all of their posts… not to hard. And yes of course here I am, because I want to play the game, I’m still going to check the forums frequently to see if anyone has found a solution, or if any response from Turn 10. Look I’ve been playing forza for a long time. But this game clearly has a lot of issues. And they had to of been aware of it when they released it.

Actually I do this quite often. I have tried it since the issue began and it hasnt fixed it. I have been doing it daily now and i also regularly clear my mac address and reset my router and modem just to be safe. I apologize for not stating I was on Xbox One. I honestly haven’t read much around the threads so I hadn’t any idea I needed to post anything like that. You must understand I am just cross at the moment due to having these issues. I was on the Microsoft live site night 1 and saw that issues were ongoing with the game. I figured it would pass and I figured maybe it’s a minor bug. Honestly I would have soldiered on, but it is terribly frustrating because I am losing so much time and credits and experience to this issue. I hate feeling like my time is wasted and I don’t like repeating myself so when i have to sort of do these things in a game due to things beyond my control it’s irritating to no end. I desperately just want to get on with the game and I can’t. I can be patient but at least give me back my high tier mods so when it is fixed I can use them to race and get what i won in the first place.
What’re your specs, and settings? I posted mine, you can’t deny the game wasn’t ready for release… And please don’t act like the game is perfect for you.
I can understand your frustration when it’s not working as it should especially when it’s working as it supposed to for others like me
I come on here to try and help and suggest the easiest fix and hope it will help but seems for some it doesn’t
hopefully they will put through another patch soon that will fix the issues like what you and a lot of others are having…they cant just do them straight away without any testing as the fixes can create other worse issues…it would be good if some official support came and posted too, but it also the weekend and they aren’t around
i’m sticking to doing short races so maybe that’s why i’m having those issues
Well I appreciate your understanding. Yeah it does make it worse that there are people not having the issue but hopefully the can get a patch out. I also wasn’t aware official support wasn’t around on weekends hmmm. Should have looked into that. It could indeed be the length of races. I notice in career mode it crashes towards the end of a series of races which equals more time and in free play I usually do endurance races so to speak like I did in FM6 for the rewards and levels. Thank God i did Daytona because I really want to marathon Nordeschliefe(I apologize for ruining the spelling as I most likely did.) But not until I am sure it won’t crash. I appreciate the help and troubleshooting and I will continue to do all i can and will report in if it’s fixed or I find a method to lessen the issue in some way. At least I have sweet body kits and glorious cars to mess with in the meantime.
Im playing on PC and actually refunded after 2 days after Ultimate launch (mostly because of wheel issues) but then bought it again on friday and are having a ton of fun playing it with the 360 controller. After some advanced tuning its really good with the controller on PC.
I surely do have issues thou. A few crashes, some hangs on loading and the gfx glitch you sometimes get when rewinding but the game is such fun that it doesnt ruin my day. I wouldnt do the superlong races yet thou until most bugs are ironed out. Also the horrible kamikaze driveatar AI is really bad. But I can live with these issues until they are solved.
Im not even a hardcore FM fan (only played FM2, 3 and some off 4 on 360 and FH3 on PC), its just a really fun game that I love being able to play on my Win10 PC. Watching others play it on twitch made me buy it back again and dont regret it.
And Im also pleased to see that there are none of the stuttering issues (only very minor ones) and inputlag I experienced on PC with FM6 and FH3 for the first year until finally resolved for FH3 just a few months back. (i7 and 970-1070-1080Ti.)
FM7 runs very well on my system, 60 FPS all the way @1920*1080 on ultra settings.
What upsets me the most, like everyone else here on this forum, are the shear number of crashes in all kinds of scenarios.
It’s gonna take Turn10 a lot of effort to iron these all out, especially on PC.
I hope that the Xbox One X version will not have those kind of crashes, because if it does, then it’s bye bye Xbox One X in the sales charts!
I’m trying to be positive, but it’s hard to play a great game as FM7 and to hold your breath after every race hoping it will not crash.
Problems have been solves! No more crashing! Time to try an endurance race! Heard the glitches and exploits were all wiped out at once too! Good job Turn 10!!!
