I love Forza Motorsport 7

Yes, if Forza 7 is the first Forza Motorsport title someone plays, its a great game. But i think if you played the series from the beginning its a huge letdown.
I know the reason is money.
Sometimes i feel sorry for Turn10. They cant be happy with the situation…they deserved better

I’ve played since at least FM2 and don’t find it to be a huge letdown. I can’t say I love it, either, but that’s in no small part due to the series in general just getting stale to me. I enjoy the game exactly as much as I expected to.

This is a joke

I also love the game. I’ve played Forza since the first iteration and am still loving it to this day. Foza 7 has given me essentially no problems and I still play it on a regular basis.

If you’re new to the game it’s a great game. If you know the history of the franchise, it’s a different story.

I hated the game for a time due to how buggy the game is and no love for the homologation system. If I played the game for single player the game worked great however the AI isnt much competition on unbeatable on most tracks, multiplayer is where the bugs were.

With the most recent changes to the multiplayer hoppers and several bugs being fixed (I’m no longer crashing to dashboard every 2-3 races) I’m finally starting to enjoy the game.

Not going to heap much praise on turn 10 though, the game today is how it should have shipped. For the first time I can confidently recommend this game.

FM7 is trash, uninstalled and went back to FM6

Apart from the hooha with the locked cars, I’m confused why you’d go back to Forza 6. Forza 7, gameplay wise, is practically Forza 6.5 at this particular point in time. So either way, you’d be doing yourself a downgrade playing the old one.

When the expansions land, I think that’s when it’s gonna come into its own. The first one should be very soon. I think it should be 6 months before Horizon 4 to give it ample breathing room. The second one, maybe 3-4 months after Horizon 4’s launch.

Just some wild guesses. But I think I have a Leprechaun whispering into my ear as of late.

If this was a negative post, the message from the TS was already deleted by a moderator. The moderators on this forum can’t tolerate critism (from longtime Forza players) about FM7.
This game sucks: the game is to grey (no sun), multiplayer is a disaster, there’s too little innovation and the menu’s are laggy.

I have a very strange relationship with this game. I have played a lot of hours, did a lot of things and can’t say that I never got my moneys worth. On the other hand I sometimes feel dirty about it. Whereas in Horizon 3 I mostly loved every moment and have WAY MORE faith in 4. Just how it is.

I didn’t get on with it much, will say 4 will always be favourite due to the car selection and ease of getting an awesome paint job.

However I recently got an x one x…and my god this game makes sense once you have that. Fh3 looks pretty but cartoony this for the most part looks like you are there.

I’ve been playing racing games a very long time (since like position on the Atari 2600…via the original GT and Forza and many many others) seeing this moving at 60fps in 4k is amazing to me.

I have to agree with you. I first saw the game on the X in 4k at the Microsoft store and was amazed.

This prompted me to pick up an X and a 4k TV and the rest was history. Really transformed the game for me, especially coming from 720p. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’d never actually seen it in 4k until I bought my one X and set it up.

I had the telly already, then realised I’d built up a back catalogue of the enhanced games…then my gen 1 Xbox one got a bit creaky so I man mathsed my way into a one X.

It’s astounding and FM7 is clearly the one game to use the full potential. On the old one it was very pretty but with enough rough edges to still feel like forza 6.3…on a one X it feels like a tech demo but it isn’t.
