Another tip .you can use the controller hit the light up Xbox symbol the use the magnify and it will super zoom in

Doesn’t really help if you struggle to distinguish between the colours.
This is so frustrating. I am too on 487/488 and I could swear that something’s wrong with my game. Checked the red offroad parts first, then checked the regular white roads, went online and found 30-40 screenshots of the bits that caused the most trouble to people. At this point I know where every one of those little driveways is and I’m sure that I have them all found, I’m concinced everything is painted and I don’t know how to look for that elusive 488th road anymore…
edit: and less than half an hour after I posted this I found the road using drone mode, the sliver of road was white in the ingame map but grey on the minimap when I got near it
So I have ONE road unexplored in the mainland. I have looked for HOURS at this point, just scrolling around the map zoomed in looking for it, as well as trying to drive down every road in a systematic manner (which is really hard to do). Anyone have any ideas as to how i can find this damn thing?

Infuriating doesn’t even begin to describe this one. I’m on 486 and have spent 3 hours trying to find the last two. I’ve set the tv to black ad white, put the in game brightness to zero, given myself a headache by sitting with my nose almost touching the screen, tried every suggestion, used the Xbox magnifier - nothing. I’m convinced that the counter has either glitched or 2 things show complete on the main map but not the local one. Will just have to hope one of the remaining courses goes over it or I stumble across one by blind luck.
How do you kno if you’ve driven all of a main road? The small roads turn redish when you drive over a part of iy but how do you know what you’ve completed on the highways and city?
Finally found my last roads. The small section on the horizontal road was a tricky bugger
Please help, I’ve been looking for my final road for days and days and I’ve had no luck. I have looked at every forum and every website to try and get my last one. Every single post helping that I have seen turns out that I already have that road, thanks.
It really comes down to you. When I was in your spot I got another member of the family and then I just drove through sections slowly using the mini map. For me it was a driveway that I had got beginning and end but not middle section.
They show on mini map much easier in my opinion. So I’d just be extremely careful and clear specific area with mini map and then move to another section- be extremely systematic. Like clearing a room
You could also try to take pictures and adjust contrast but above is how I finished my last road
Turn off all the icons from world map and it is there somewhere. I had a hard time finding my last road but it was in the map even though l thought it wasn’t first.
I’m stuck on 487/488 roads discovered and I can’t find the last one. I’ve checked the entire map countless times and all the roads I see are discovered fully. I see no grey roads at all and its frustrating me.
The same thing happened to me; when I was completing the Championship circuit though, the final road triggered.
There’s other posts on this same issue that offer other solutions such as adjusting your TV…
NVM, found it. Drove along the dashed road on the Byron Bay beach and it unlocked despite already being disckvered.
That method helped find some.

,i have 487 of the 488 roads and for the life of me cannot find the last one,turned off everything so I had roads only magnified the map and do not see any missed.Is there a trick road somewhere? Or give me a thread link and i’ll read through it,any help would be great,thanks guys!
My best guess is it’s one of those dotted lines that’s hard to see, maybe a chunk of a roundabout or some silly 1/16 mile stretch that’s kind of really an alley… Sounds like you need a few beers and some time for some sightseeing.

Go to trueachievements.com find the game and then the achievement and a guide on there shows the commonly.missed roads.

It’s most likely one of the farm roads. It might take ten minutes to find, it might take an hour. I recommend redriving the dashed lines and looking really close at intersections and split roads like the highway and surfers Paradise
