I have not been able to play a single multiplayer game!!!!

My router is perfect, ports forwarded and IPsec enabled
My internet is perfect 150mbps

I can not join a single multiplayer game I always get “can not join this session please check your internet settings”

2 times out of 60 I get in a game and it kicks me out 2 secs later saying connection to host session lost

[Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - fyerball ] is going on and why can I not play the game I paid £45 for!!!

Really no developer cares or acknowledges this problem?

Get in line, same thing for me. Nat open, Ipsec enabled, and a smattering of ports forwarded and nothing matters. Not so much as a single solution from the decs. Makes me wonder how they are not prioritizing something that is such a major portion of the game… If they don’t fix it now, or even later, why buy the next forza?

Nitpicking here but: 150mbps doesn’t exist. Nor does any downstream-speed guarantee and “upload connection” to a lobby.

What ports do you have forwarded; would you care to supply a list of TCP & UDP seperately? Have you updated both your console and controller after the recent firmware?

Well since i used speedtest.net and it said i have a downstream of 163mbps and i pay virgin media for my 150mbps connection, i think you will find i do have a 150mbps connection.

Why can’t people just accept the game is at fault here! I literally can play every single game i have on every single console on multiplayer with no issues what so ever.

It’s Forza that is at fault here and their servers why should i disable my firewalls etc just to play multiplayer when every other single game i have works fine.

The devs need to pull their finger out and get this problem sorted.

This is my first Forza game and i can not play multi player which is the only reason i brought it for!

I have the same problem. Every other mp game i have works perfectly fine. This is the only one that does not. Same error message as op every time.

See if disabling your routers firewall will help. Just disconnect anything else attached to it, and disable firewall or put it in modem only mode and then try again. That at least will rule out your router or firewall as the issue. Not all routers are LIVE certified or compatible for a variety of reasons. So just do that to check it off the list.

Sorry but I asked 2 questions; what ports and/or triggers you can/have configure on your modem/router and do you have a recent firmware with updated controller? None were answered yet I was able to sit through a 8-hour online experience in FH2 today without ANY glitches/issues whatsoever with a varying party of 4 to 8 clan-members changing Party-leaders, choosing Online Roadtrips and chatting in Party Chat for the entire ordeal.

Also, but nitpicking again, mbps does NOT exist. It’s Mbps or MB/s.

No clue where you dug up those ports but you haven’t got even the most basic ports opened/forwarded according to the official FAQ of Microsoft. Then again, your console could be DMZ’d or maybe even on uPnP but that information is lacking in your posts. And I might be mistaken but the list you posted is actually the port-forwarding for Steam/Valve and not for any Xbox Live Service at all.

“All I see is: Blonde… Brunette… Redhead.”

Lol. Did that answer your question?
I can’t say what might be wrong myself. Since no one official on the forums addressed your actual problem I’d look for a help number and call.

The reason YOU should disable YOUR firewall is because nobody else has the access to. Plus it will enable us to help you further by checking it off the list. However, as you can’t be bothered to help yourself neither can i. If you don’t want to spend 5 minutes checking something out, i don’t want to spend longer than that trying to help you. I too am on virgin and my connection works fine, i’d tell you why, but well, it’d take 5 minutes…

Correct they are steam forwards my xbox is DMZ also my firewall is disabled on my router

Well it cannot be the game fault surely , Mine is working fine, my friends are all working and I see 100’s more online, it must be your internet somewhere down the line friend

Every single game i own works fine, i am not the only person here with the same problem

Same here. Port forward or not, unable to join. Every other multiplayer game works fine.

I want a dev to respond that they are looking into this… i just want to play multiplayer!!!

I know how you are going to respond to this but I will put it out there just in case.

It is unlikely an issue the devs can fix or need to.

On the One the Forza Servers handle NAT settings differently to before. With Virign this means ipsec must be enabled. If there are still problems and you are on Virgin I would still look at things you can change with your connection.

As said above you have no xbox live ports forwarded. We also do not know if you have a static IP address for your Xbox One.

Personally I would try that because even though you believe this looks like a game issue the most likely cause is something to do with your connection or your ISP.

Go to the following link and say the game is FM5. Xbox Support
