I hate drivatars, because lately they have become impossible. I play campaign, and even if I set it to the lowest difficulty, i still have no chance anymore. Not because of my skill, but they are all so much faster than me. I can go from 1st to 10th on a single strait, just because they zip past me. My car is upgraded as much as it can be for me to still be eligible for the league, but I can’t do anything when the other cars are twice as fast as me. Any help?

Try setting the drivatar difficulty way higher, adjusting it to lower has a negative effect.
If that doesn’t work try doing some races with your xbox offline so that the drivatars don’t load.

With most tracks, you’re likely not going through corners at the potential speed possible. Efficient braking and throttle input will maximize speed in and out of corner allowing you to achieve higher speeds in the straights before the next turn. I’ve learned most corners so well I can actually drift the corners faster than most of my competitors. Also, taller and shorter gears can significantly improve your acceleration along with less drag if you’re using an adjustable front and or rear spoiler. The Nordschleife is my playground because it’s 147 corners of insanity and is an excellent way to improve cornering skill in reference to weight transfer, tire traction and throttle input. It’s just a suggestion and your skill level could be well beyond what I’m suggesting.
Nobody likes Drivatars.
Silly unrealistic behaviour. It’s an “online multiplayer non-serious behaviour”. Nobody wants that.
The 1st to 10th on a straight is obviously an exageration. You can easily block the drivatars. They will break.
But if you are seeing some unfair advantage like some of them suddenly boosting their speed, just use Rewind some times and their behaviour will change.

What are the cars the AI use and what is the car you are using? Just because it’s tuned up as much as it can be doesn’t make the car as good as the AI’s. Sounds like they have better speed and/or acceleration if they are passing you on the straights. What track are you racing on as well?
