Apart from the credits and prize car, the main reason I enter the livery contests is to try and get more followers. It’s almost impossible for anyone to get a featured livery any other way (seeing as the same designs have been featured since launch).
So, I won a contest, got my car, got my credits…but my paint isn’t featured.
Do they really not want anyone but the big-20 to actually ever have any success in this area of the game?
Same here, I don’t understand why they only show the most downloaded designs when looking at liveries for a car. I won in a contest too, but my livery isn’t visible like the featured designs have been in previous forza games.
It’s being looked into (covered elsewhere on these forums). I’m sure it’ll be sorted soon.

Yeah guys … we’ve been asking T10 and PG people to look into this and other design sharing, rewards system issues for a while now. Hopefully they’ll get these things sorted soon. It’s a mess for everyone right now.
There is a simple solution to the whole livery thing.
First 5 slots - Always for featured liveries (contest winners). As new designs for the same car win, yours falls down the list. By that point, it may have had enough downloads to make it to…
Second 10 slots - Popular liveries. If possible, have them randomise each time, so the top ten don’t just occupy this space for all eternity.
Third (add large number here) slots - Newest designs. Otherwise, how will anyone ever see anything new?
There should always be an alternate tab (shoulder button to switch), with all contest entries, newest to oldest. They have us tag our entries (race1, fantasy1), so why not use the tags.
That’s fairly close to how the recommended designs has worked in previous games. If you add in slots for friends and creators you follow … we’re almost there. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon.

DEV dont care about painters. Every time the same story…From Day1 200 Slots full of garbage liveries made by 2 colours (and a bunch of those in the first 10 slots), 30 slots for the Monster Energy “copy and paste” logos and only 20 deserve for the real paintjobs. I bought the Ultimate Edition and I’m playing this game from the release and nothing’s changed…Every slots is busy right now and many of my and your works will never come to light. You know, it’s sad but true.
not sure how this hasn’t been addressed in the last 2-3 updates.
this needs to be a confirmed fix for the update on the 25th as it’ll make less sense the later it gets fixed as the large majority of dl’s are occurring now as the game is new.
simple fix? make it as previous horizons. this also applies to recommended tunes
STOP trying to fix whats not broken (ie full rival boards, online championship)
should be like it was in forza 2, 3 or 4 (cant remember exactly which one but im sure it was one of them) were you had the designs shown then you pressed X to sort by newest, oldest, most downloaded, highest rated etc
