How to (re)gain interest on created liveries?

Is there a way to make your liveries get noticed?
When I published my first one for the BMW M2 when the DLC was just out, it gained a lot of interest and downloads pretty fast. However, this only lasted for 2-3 days after which it was only downloaded once or twice a day.
Even worse happened to my second batch of liveries. It doesn’t seem they really get noticed at all, except when searching for it.
Is there any way to make it easier for people to see them, be lined up amongst the many ‘recommendations’? And also for my BMW M2 to regain interest in it?
It’s quite a shame putting all the work into it and not being noticed.

Taken from the Weekly Livery Competitions OP:

“Forza Horizon 3 uses curated content as the means by which paints are shown to players when they choose to apply a new paint to their car when using the “Find New Designs” tile, or when they purchase a new car from the Autoshow. The best way to get recognized in the community is to participate in our contests. Winners of the livery contests will be Featured Items which means that the paint will be shown to a much wider player audience which will hopefully boost your downloads and uses and thus, payouts from the paint. (If the paint is yours or you already own the paint, you will not see your own paint displayed to yourself.)”

You can’t miss really

That sounds effective, but that is IF I win. Which I highly doubt, seeing my liveries are pretty simple and straightforward.

Contest wins are the only way to get a meaningful number of downloads on your designs, as any featured designs will appear at the front of the Recommended Paints queue whenever a person buys a car.

Thanks for responding guys. I think I’ll just submit a livery and see what’ll happen.
After reading the terms I do have some questions though. I have currently only made 2 liveries (1 in 4 different colours).

  1. Both my liveries are pretty simple replicas. Am I allowed to submit replicas as well as you have to choose between ‘race’ and ‘fantasy’?
  2. I’d like to submit the one that comes in 4 colours first, but can I submit all 4 at once? I made 4 so that people could choose their personal preference of colour combinations while maintaining the same livery. Only submitting one would result in people being forced to go with the one I’m submitting (that is if it wins), instead of choosing their own.
  3. If question 2 is not possible. Can I submit the other colours in the next competition or does it count as ‘the same design’, which I cannot submit more than once?

1
Race liveries are generally those with numbers and logos on them, like a typical racing car would have. Simplistic designs generally go here too, along with replicas. Fantasy liveries are usually more illustrative and feature characters and other artwork instead of logos and numbers.

2
Choose the one that looks best and enter it in the contest.

You can keep submitting a design until it wins.

Thank you PJ! Except I don’t think you got my last question.
I meant that if I submit the livery of which I have 4 different colours and it wins, can I then submit one of the remaining 3 colours the following week or not? The terms state that you can not submit the same livery more than once. But is a different colour combination distinctive enough to be able to submit the same design/different colour again?
