What is the right way to go stock from a purchased tune guys? I mean in case to swap from one setup to another without need to buy again removed one. Sometimes I find them in my tuning setups but sometimes I cannot. Because I am afraid I had to get 5 of my favourite car. Just to have stock, 3 possible performance classes and one for drifting. If there is a proper way just to have few different setups and swap between them, please someone
explain how.
Take a car you have two tunes for. Get in at your home or the festival:
From your garage go to Upgrades and tuning:
Go to My Tuning setups
You should see all the tunes you have downloaded
Now you can swap between but the parts go to each car so the first time you do this it will make you buy parts again
Is little complicated, 3 months hardcore playing but still so much to learn.
To add to this, there is a bug with downloading tunes. After you download the tune got to My tuning setups select the tune you downloaded and make sure you have all grey dashes in white boxes in the right most category. If you see any red or green boxes your tune did not load properly. Select tune and reload again, do this until you have all white boxes to make sure the tune is installed correctly.
To return a vehicle to stock that has a downloaded tune on it: Get in the car and attempt to access the upgrades menu as if you are going to upgrade it yourself. It should prompt you that the tune is locked and ask if you want to remove it. Yes will return the car to stock and remove the tune - but not remove the tune from your saved/downloaded tunes, so you can re-apply it later.
To return a car to stock that is wearing your own tune: First, ensure you have saved the tune.
Go into the tuning menu parts selector screen and act like you want to save the tune again - in that menu will be the option to “reset car to default upgrades” This will return the car to stock without you having to save a stock tune file for it.
From here you just go back to your saved tunes, or My tunes, and reapply the tune you want.
Thus - you maintain multiple tunes for a single car - not multiple cars for a single tune.
All great advice above but it isn’t really worth the effort unless you don’t have space in your garage. The biggest drawback is your vehicle has to be ready before you join anything online.
If you still want just one instance of the vehicle, the best advice I’ve seen is to apply the desired tune twice. It doesn’t happen very often when this is required but it comes up occasionally. Also, if you do want to be able to return to stock, you can’t reset a car you’ve tuned yourself in freeroam unless you have saved the stock tune to reapply.
Once you buy a tune - you own those parts for that vehicle.
Once you own the parts for a vehicle any tune that uses them will not cost you the CR for those parts again.
Thus to swap between two downloaded tunes that you have - you don’t have to pay to reapply them.
You can in fact delete them from your downloaded tunes and you will see that you still own the parts in the tuning menus, and if you go find that tune again - you can install it and it costs nothing.
So at the end of the day, you don’t need to save a stock tune and use that for swapping.
You should not buy multiple cars either, because what you buy stays with the car you were in when buying it. (and I think this is where you got stuck having multiple cars).
What you pay for tunes is for parts - not the settings. It’s all parts… none of what you pay goes to Me as a tuner - the game has its own pay out system for that.
