Is there a quick way to revert a car to stock?

I actually like the move to stock only trials and races for weekly challenges, but i wish there was a quick way to revert a car to stock and then back to whatever tune/upgrades you had set up.

The example of this is the Volvo for this week. My 850R had a slight upgrade to full C600 PI but need to be stock. I go in and click through all the different menus returning it to what i think is “stock” but the PI wouldn’t go back to 511. Now look i probably missed a wheel setting or the darn flywheel because it is always off screen. But really i shouldn’t have to make 30 clicks to return a car to stock. Then I had to rent a car for the race. Thus boring red like everyone else an not the traditional dull maroon i had painted it like a true old Volvo wagon.

Am I missing something? Plus if i do flip it back to stock how do i reset the upgrades after the race.

In the Setup Manager option (look at bottom of tuning/custom screens on XBox) there’s a Reset Default Upgrades option that puts it all back to stock.

Then in the same Setup Manager after, choose Load Setup, and go to the My Tunes tab, your old custom setup should be there (if it was downloaded/saved) and cost nothing to reinstall.

Alternatively just use a rental.
My Volvo was already tuned so I opted for a rental and it worked just fine.

The Stock Trials will place you in a “stock” rental but with the paint/livery you have on the vehicle.

To return a vehicle to stock, do this through the “Upgrade” shop not the “Tuning” shop. Rest to default from the Upgrade shop reset the vehicle back to complete stock form. If doing this in the Tuning shop, only the tuning numbers are reset and the upgrades remain.

For cheap stuff, buy stock one off AH for min bid. When done, gift/delete
If personal tune, save it, then follow above directions. Can keep your personal tune and restore it afterwards.

Maybe but just using a rental works perfectly well and doesn’t affect anything on the one in your garage. Saves messing about with the garage car or buying new cars for no reason…

Each of the required stock cars you can win by completing other challenges of the same week, the mini, the rs200, the audi quattro, even the rothsport porsche and now the volvo.
It is the reward for the 2000 b700 Modern Rallye Dirt Races

What’s horrible about those B class Modern Rally races is going in and seeing AI with Rally and Dirt Off road tires on cars that would never make B class with them on…

The only advantage of using your own car over a rental is you can adjust the tire pressures for a tiny bit more grip

Thanks i thought there had to be one as there is for liverys and vynils but i was just missing it.
