How to properly restore a backup of Forza Motorsport 7 to D:\WindowsApps?
I took ownership of the folder & used Acronis True Image to recover the Forza Motorsport 7 folders from my backup of C:\Program Files\WindowsApps to D:\WindowsApps. Although after I did that & proceeded to install the game from the XBOX app, it didn’t detect the recovered files/folders & is just installing it fresh. Why? Why can I recover to C:\Program Files\WindowsApps & the install detects the recovered files on the C:\ drive but not the D:\ drive?

Got it working. Took ownership of D:\WindowsApps, deleted the folder. Created a new WindowsApps folder then recovered my Forza Motorsport 7 backup to the D:\WindowsApps location then installed the game on XBOX app on Windows 11 home edition x64. At first it gave error messages, but at the bottom it said it was ready to play, so now it’s working.
