How there is full of hackers on Horizon 5 and no on Motorsport in leaderboards?

If you look at leaderboards in Horizon 5, hackers conquered every single leaderboard. But in Motorsport, there is not. Is there a hack protection in Motorsport?

There is no hack protection in Motorsport. Yesterday I posted a link (in the update 8.0 thread) to a race which had a blatant grip hacker in there if you want to take a look.

And they made the reporting system so long winded and stupid it’s nigh on impossible to report them. It’s almost like they don’t care :eyes:

Yes. Even reporting in a different site. Is FM hackers easy to notice? I dont remember one of them. Also, what about leaderboards?

Horizon has an exponentially higher player count,so it’s a much bigger target.

Yes. But if im not wrong, there is no hackers in leaderboards in FM. There is no 0.1 seconds like FH5.

Or the ones in FM are not as blatant/obvious.

The recent Rivals event at Hockenheim for Porsche 962 (might have been VIP only) had two obvious cheats at the top for a short time. The difference between Motorsport and Horizon is that the former records every best lap, whilst the latter doesn’t.

By watching the replays of the top 3, it was clear that the player in third was genuine, because they drove smoothly, it was like watching a real race car. The other two had speed and brake boosts, but they were much more erratic and had trouble taking corners. Number one was over 30 mph faster than number 3 on the long straight, but number two had a warp engine. It accelerated and braked like a spaceship, without inertia, but the player clearly couldn’t handle anything faster than creeping round bends, so couldn’t match number one’s time.

Also Motorsport has a ā€˜report suspicious lap’ tab, which combined with the recorded laps makes it easier for support to act.

Cheaters still exist in Forza Motorsport, there’s just not as many (because there’s not as many people playing the game full-stop) and they’re getting more subtle.

Most players won’t notice a player who is only 1 tenth ahead of the fastest legitimate time for example.

Unfortunately there definitely is, I’ve seen a few people have best laps that were 5-15 seconds faster than the rest in featured rivals a few times.

I don’t look at the boards too often and those times are blatantly obvious, the laps with small advantages would be much harder to notice.

Yes but i mean if you look at leaderboards in FH5, You’ll see 00:00:01 times in every single leaderboard. But there is just hard to notice hackers in FM. Even I learned this to yours. FH undoubtedly biggest hack but FM is hardest to notice. And not too much hackers like. FH. Maybe because of player base or harder to use hack.

Thanks. Maybe there is no big hacks like FH due to player base or harder to use hack.

Thanks for informing hackers. So FH is the king of hackers but FM hard to notice. Maybe there is no biggest hackers like in FH due to player base or harder to use hack.

Nah, X class has some pretty big hackers in it.

Oh i saw you in online sometimes. You probably know me. How you notice hackers?

I’ve only ever seen one during a race, but there are a couple in the rivals leaderboards.

There must be a system which detects differences in system. Then kicks them. But I think we’ll never had one of these.

In horizon it’s easy to get cheats, and at begging horizon most popular cheat software supported motosport but they dropped it luckily.

Thing is motosport is too dead for even cheat developers.

But I did see one obvious speed hacker on first month after release.
(He was driving full grip Miata, me in no aero power tune, catching up to him on straight with significant speed difference and no slipstream cuz no aero tune, once we were side by side, his car suddenly started accelerating, what should not be possible with his tune even if u he was running stock gearing and min/min aero)

Also in motosport there are many tricks that can make your car faster, tho for others it will look like cheats.
-soft tyre abuse
-using ballast to transform rear heavy cars into 50/50 balance, and gain a lot of pi room because of that (more pwr)
-rwd swapping AWD and fwd cars.
-in some low class cars using non race transmission can make u lot faster tho shifting sucks (but u ā€œcanā€ use makro for shifting ^^)

Thanks for info. Hackers not noticeable as Horizon. And almost no hackers. Motorsport’s trouble is divebombers.

well there is a grip and speed boost hack used, one playerwas 20 seconds faster a lap then anyone else in Open 8 Cylinder Lobby A class. There is video evidence and on a straight his car increased speed from 225 mp/h to 410mp/h in less then a second. The player driving skill was very poor to say the least.
The player is thanks to the video evidence banned. This was about 2 months ago
this is a link to the video
