There’s also basic tuning that anyone can do to make some of the vehicles look like they have hacks but they don’t. A certain final drive along with setting the brake bias to the rear and the right amount of pressure which in reality would be completely wrong coupled with xbox’s own trigger lock so you can gain that extra bit with ABS off
And Turn10 said they were locking the framerate to 60fps in MP for fairness when in fact there in nothing fair about being held back
About this abs thing and abs off with trigger lock, I just find abs being as good as abs off tbh, it’s just that when using abs u can’t just trail brake with full steering lock, cuz game will think u want to turn hard and abs will drastically limit braking power, as long as u are precise with steering (or on straight) abs on is as good as abs off.
Also thing about fps limit, on pc u get basically 100fps limit on 60 if u know what to do.
Locking brakes with ABS Off is not better than not locking. %74.9 not locking but %75+ locks. And results more bad stopping. They need to fix this. Thanks for reminding me this. I’m gonna report this.
Yeah I tested this and 74.9 % pressure does not lock while more than 75 locks, similarly to horizon 5 but there u can go up to 98%.
What’s worse is that when u press trigger with constant pressure, in game pressure values first will bump over 75% and then go down, making braking in Forza w/o abs (or makro for constant input / max input limit to 74.9) rly annoying.
Yeah I’m getting a solid 72fps and it’s just passable. If I had a 4090 I’d be completely livid not being able to do 144 and above.
Racing games are much much nicer at higher fps and the difference in lap times would be so small it’s not worth ruining a game over… plus there’s always that meta car in MP that ruins it over a few one hundredths anyday

I wonder if PC gamers will ever opt in to extremely locked down systems that make online cheating as impossible to do on pc as it is on console. Main attractions with pc gaming has always been m/kb support, mod support, superior graphics.
But cheats these days, especially in FPS games, are so abundant it really can ruin the experience.
