I couldn’t find anything on this, i was just wondering how long we will be getting new series for ?
Nobody except for PG knows. FH5 probably won’t come out before 2021, but I doubt they will keep adding new stuff until then.

For this month’s Forza Monthly I asked whether FH4 post-launch support would continue as long or longer than FM7 and the answer was yes. There are probably too many variables for PG to be comfortable providing specifics more than a month out, but as long as they continue I’ll keep updating post #2 of the Upcoming Content thread pinned at the top of the forum.

Since there is not a new Forza game coming out this year, I was wondering if Turn10 will continue to release new cars. Forza Horizon 3 stopped releasing new cars when Forza Motorsport 7 came out, so will it be different this year since there is no new game? Would be exciting to look forward to possible additions like the Speedtail, Jesko, etc.

They told us in advance that August’s update for FM7 will be its last, it will be the same for FH4, so until they explicitly tell us something like: “This update is the last”, you have reason to act as if the game’s development cycle is not over and more content is coming.
Given at the year 1 anniversary of FH4 forza motorsport twitter posted “were excited for year 2!” So that confirms updates until november, but will there be a year 3? As this year in nov/dec the XSX and FM8 launches with it, will FM8s realese mark the end for fh4? And if so i hope we got some big final updates like a major sound update or the bodykits PG promised all those months ago
Why no fourth car for this month festival playlist?
It’s been a really nice monthly update; my only complaint is there’s no fourth new car. Why? I’m just curious.
Also, every monthly update can we get one new car that’s been in earlier games but have been removed for whatever reason? Porting to a new game is guaranteed easier than making a car from scratch, i’d love that. Three new cars, one returning one. An update that includes more than one Toyota is needed, too.

The game’s nearly a year and a half old now. Though there has been some speculation that the next game will be delayed, which may extend the life of Horizon 4 past the traditional 2 year mark where previous games started to wind down, that’s never been officially announced as far as I’m aware. Even if that were the case, they’d probably want to stretch out what they have for the remainder of the game’s lifecycle. So if I had to guess, I’d figure 3 per month is going to be the new normal for a while. Then eventually 2, then 1.
