Try playing it without racing and see how far you progress then, there’s nothing ‘coincidental’ about it.
That would be fine if Ti wasn’t someone who almost always states opinions as facts himself and completely dismisses anything they personally don’t like, unwilling to ever see a different opinion as a perfectly valid one regardless of how it’s put across, coming from many other people on here that same comment would be fine but it’s just complete hypocrisy from him, anyone who doesn’t understand what I’m saying must never have tried disagreeing with him reasonably before, he won’t insult you or go off on one but it is nearly a bigger waste of time than trying to chat normally with Aqua or George was.
Their summary of MW says it all, just dismissing it as a police chase game + calling the racing aspect of it coincidental is borderline clueless and shows incredible ignorance, you wouldn’t make it past the very first blacklist member without racing, it’s miles more integral to that game than it is in FH4 + 5.
Screw this Forza nonsense. I’m going back to RIDGE RACER, a REAL racing game.
Theres probably as large a community around playing and maintaining Mostwanted as there is people online on the last NFS entry. Talking about a game not available on PC or console by any conventional means today. So the idea that its all nostalgia propping it up is by any metric false.
Course by measuring racing game competency with such abstractions, We can pretty much say anything we want, right?
It’s not just nostalgia and the racing certainly was not coincidental. Police chases helped to build bounty SO you could rank up to higher blacklist races.
For me it’s very easy to see why people still rate this game so highly.
(We are celebrating that we finally have split times in Forza Horizon btw.)
NFS Most Wanted is the god of racing games?
Nah bro, it’s obviously Big Rigs: Over the road racing. Nothing beats that masterpiece.
Not really, but if you say so.
Reputation helping you rank up? Keep going.
But, it’s in your sentence right there, he didn’t call it the “God of all racing sims”, did he?
I get that this is a point of contention for many people, but you didn’t have to go and post an AR12 video. That’s just insulting…
My local Gamestop sells AR12-branded ear plugs.
“WEEELKUM BACK TO FOOORTSA HOUREYEZON!!!”
What?
While AR12 is a bit obnoxious I find his videos to be a good source of information. He also publishes good summaries of each update fairly quickly.
His video is a good showcase of the game I was referring to.
“… THIS THING HAS ENGINE SPAAAACERRRSSSZ!”
