hi guys
been trying to share a paint job with a couple of friend on forza 5 but its set to privet and i cant find how to change this any one had this issue?
All shared paints are locked and there is no way to gift unlocked. You can share the paint but it’ll always be locked to your friends or anyone else who downloads it.

so its automatically shared if i add it to my catalog ? its just my friends cant find any thing i make…
No it’s not automatically shared.
When you create a paint and then save it an option will come up to name the file. This option will also ask if you want it to be shared. You can avoid sharing it and then later on go to your saved paint files (have to be in the car to access them) and go ahead and share the file.
Finding the paint may be hard for friends. You can remedy that by applying specific filters to the paint when you share it and tell your friends the filters. If your paint is newly shared it should appear close to the front in the listing provided.
Make sure your friends add you as a favorite painter. The game will show your paints on the paint suggestion screen and they won’t have to worry about fighting the terrible in game search functions.
