How do I submit replays to Turn 10, and how do I report players to Microsoft?

Last night, I was in what was by far the worst lobby I’ve ever been a part of. Ordinarily I would have just quit after the first race and joined another lobby, but instead I ran several races with these people so that I could amass a collection of replays with the intention of sending them to T10/Microsoft. This was a group of 4 people - 3 of them were in Shelby Raptors, and one was in a yellow VW Type 2 with the words “short bus” on the back. Classy. Anyway…

One “wrecker” in a lobby is bad but nothing anyone can’t handle. However, these 4 guys were quite literally planning and coordinating their attack strategy. You could hear them on the chat calling out individual cars out to hit, planning their formation to ensure no cars could get by them, etc. Some of the worst behavior online I’ve ever seen in any game, ever (though I must admit, it got a little fun trying to outsmart them after awhile). The most amazing part - they NEVER got booted out of the lobby, despite me telling everyone between races to kick them out.

I don’t know much about the social aspects of Xbox, nor reporting people. I just play the games. But this type of behavior is exactly what needs to be reported for the sake of the integrity of the game. All I know is, I saved 5-6 replays of these guys repeatedly doing this and I would love to somehow get them to someone in charge.

  1. How do I report the gamer tags?
  2. Who do I report to - T10, Microsoft, both?
  3. How do I get the replays to them?
  4. Can I upload them to YouTube somehow?

Use the Xbox One method of reporting this game-disrupting behavior (poor sportsmanship) by going into Friends in the Dashboard, then Find the gamertag and REPORT the actions for Unsporting behavior. Those reports go to the Xbox Live Policy Enforcement Team (PET) and they have the capabilities to join offenders during their online sessions for observation and warning.

Not only will those incidents result in PET taking actions, but they have the power to instantly ban those who challenge what they warn about - not just from the game itself but Xbox Live. That really gets the attention of people who are destroying game play for others.

Don’t get into discussions with the offenders, just observe, remember the gamertag and file the report. Let PET handle it without attempting to tell the offender how wrong they are or using retaliation. It is simple and effective when PET puts a leash on the crasher.

Remember, too, when PET issues a ban on a gamertag, it isn’t just for a single game, it is a time out from Xbox Live.
