Yea, I’ve always had mine set on unbeatable and there was one race, not sure if it was this one, where they were killing me! If I wasn’t getting rammed by 4 cars in the back of the pack then I was getting passed like I was standing still and watching the lead car vanish on straightaways and take turns at impossible speeds. It was insane! Lol. After doing the race a few times i finally came in second place. But I had to fight for it!
You can lower the difficulty.
If you don’t want to, try driving faster.
Take a look at the line you are taking and make sure you’re taking the corners well and taking shortcuts if applicable. Also see what car you are using. Make sure the build is well thought out, make sure the car is at the top of its letter class, and drive in a class with which you are comfortable - you can do the finale in any car in any class.

^^This. I re-raced the Finale Route online against a friend in a Private Multiplayer Free Roam and I kicked his backside so hard it was ridiculous. We ran A-Class cars and I used a well built Countach while he drove a rally-tuned R34 Skyline. If he had picked an appropriately built car, I’d have been destroyed by him like usual.
I made the mistake of doing it in a Z4 fully upgraded… Use a veneno
