How can I create in the garage several identical cars with different painting? I do not want to repaint the same car every time. Is it possible ?

You can save multiple designs for the same car and own multiples of the same car with different designs. You just have to “Save to Design Catalog”, instead of “Save to Current Car”. If you Save to Current Car, you can erase your current design and replace it with the new one. Save it to Design Catalog, and then go to “Your Designs” and Load it to the car. This way you save previous designs if you want to keep them. You can repeat this for many designs on the same car. So you don’t have to own multiples of the same car.

Buy x numbers of the same car, choose each individually, give each a new paint.

Buy the cars x number of times, one by one, and give them different paint each time. I have multiples of a few cars with different liveries.

Heh, but I wanted to buy one car (once) and “clone” it with different versions of paints … I do not want to buy xx the same car. Buying the same car several times does not make sense …

Once I somehow managed to “clone” the painting of the 911 rs but it was probably a game bug …

So, do I understand it right, that you want to use same livery on different cars. Like livery you have on Porsche 911 RS and you want to use that same livery on Ford Focus RS ?

If so, you only need to create vinyl groups from that 911 RS livery and you can add those vinyl groups on any car you want.
Ofcourse they may not fit perfectly on Focus, so you need to ungroup them and edit as necessary to get them fit.

If you’re talking about having multiple versions of a paint for a single car, you can have as many paints saved as you want for any car but only one can be ‘applied’ to the car at any time. You will need to make sure that all paints for the same car are named uniquely otherwise the game has trouble telling them apart and there can be errors like losing the ability to modify a paint any more especially if you’re sharing and unsharing multiple versions of a paint. If you have multiple paints saved, you’ll have to load a particular paint any time you want to change paints being used on the car.
