Purposely chose a B700 and kept the speed low and 80% done and was pulled into the side of the track causing a collision, meaning the lap is no good.
Twice in a row (different AWD cars).
This is just torture and these “Clean” laps are required for some of the accolades.
I’ll bet most of the devs haven’t even attempted this themselves and my personal opinion is that a challenge should not be released until ALL devs have completed the task at least once.
Just a complete waste of time and energy costs.
The HW tracks being what they are, you have to leave your normal tuning concepts at the “door” so to speak. This DLC is all about power builds. The faster you go, the more straight you will be able to drive. Plus the addition of “HW steering assist” has some people frustrated a bit, as it numbs down the steering feel.
LOL, I feel for you. I had the same and it took me about 10 goes to get a clean lap. I recall it was the second magnetic section where if I went too fast or too slow I would be sucked into the side.
I did it in a A800 Bone Shaker as this has great handling and grip.
I must admit it took me 3 goes myself to post a clean lap, all of which I dirtied towards the end. My problem was I was racing in S2 and would zone out towards the end on the long straights and then boom semi sharp corner.
Not looking forward to doing any of these.
Just tried the Goliath for the first time, I was banging and crashing into walls all the time LoL. Not sure if I’ll have the patience to keep trying for a clean lap.
Incidentally, I finished 6th and had the Hot Wheels Legend achievement pop??

For the clean lap in rivals, I did B class. It doesn’t have to be top 100, just clean.
I wonder if you could simply turn on all assists, rubber band accelerator and then walk away.
Didn’t they patch that out a while back? Something to do with the “autosteer” not functioning properly after they patched it.
You might be right. Last time I tried it was way back during the exploit days.
I made sure I slowed down for that straight and just belt n’ braces dragged the car away from the wall.
I used the '92 golf with an all round tune I had in that from way back.
When I first saw that straight was weird I practiced it in freeroam and just got a handle on it.
I always managed to screw it up somewhere at the end where I didn’t quite realize the road is almost vertical and it pulled my car downwards. Then I tried it with an A800 rally build and did it in first try… but then the game didn’t register it and had to restart the game to do it again 
Finally completed the Goliath Clean Lap in the new Brabham is S2 with snow tyres on.
Noticed the end of the last magneto track after which I have failed by sliding uncontrolably left for a collision fail and just powered through it and then took it easy until the finish.
Just need it to have not registered now.
Did this on my third try. After a slow B class attempt, I gunned it in the bad to the blade, s2. The magnetic strip became a breeze with the grip.
It’s that slide to the left it’s a fault in the program.
Done them all at last, plus found all the roads.
This just will not register for me or unlock the points. I’ve done every other rivals clean lap in both speed & hazard. I’ve done the goliath like 5x now with clean laps in A, S1, & S2 cars but none register at the end. The game hangs up for a bit before ending, but never posts my times so won’t unlock the medal.
Anyone else having a problem? Its just on the Goliath route. And of course, the longest route in the game. And I too have a problem sometimes at just before the end of th track on the blue section that the car all of a sudden pulls to the left with steering not working and then of course hits the wall.
Come back tomorrow. Worked for me.
I had this same issue. So, what I did was switched to S1. Jump far enough ahead to the flat part of the track and I got the clean time. I hope that helps you all. I also have completed Hot Wheels.
