No, not a bug at all. Just take your time to complete the clean laps. I did most of mine in B class. Just took it easy to get it all done. If you’d like follow my ghost in all of the rivals.
I’ve done it already, but when you said jump over the track it sounded like you found a bug, because my car doesn’t jump over the track at the flat part.
Just a question, do you have to do 2 laps on Goliath to get the clean lap, as with rivals, it never awards the first lap as clean, but will on the second.
Thanks.
No just 1 lap. Although nobody will do it on their first ever attempt anyway. That bug to the left is impossible to get right first time.
You can do a clean lap on the start lap. If you are trying to set a quick time you will obviously be quicker on the 2nd “flying” lap.
Totally agree. 1st lap is to get the clean lap. Slow down for the turns so you can take them cleanly.
Following laps are to try and get the faster time.
It took me a couple of goes in my Shelby Daytona (B800) but I finally nailed it.
It’s easy enough until the last bit on the long straight at the top of the track where I kept sliding down into the barrier due to gravity.
My best advice is to stay on the breaks if you’re ever unsure about the camber of the apex of an upcoming corner and don’t worry about the time at all. Just setting a clean lap will launch you up the leaderboard even if it takes you 8-9 miniutes.
When you get to the hill up towards the magnetic strip and the launcher just before the top road in the Tree Top/Forest zone and start going up, absolutely GUN IT like Johnny runnin’ from Amber and do not let off until you see the left hand corner at the end of the straight to go back down to the finish line.
Then as soon as you need to decelerate, use engine breaking with your gears and break combined and VERY SLOWLY wind back the knots for the corner back down. If you slam on the anchor too quick you’ll lose momentum and grip before sliding back down and hitting the sidewall.
Also, about halfway along the straight, you might get a loss of grip and a slight bucking wobble on the rear end of the car but DO NOT let your finger off the gas and keep holding it at full speed. If you slow or stop on the straight it’s game over and back to the starting line.
Best of luck.
It’s not gravity, there’s no tilt… it’s either a bug, or they have some sort of wind blowing, maybe even a powerful jet engine nearby.
It’s at an 80° angle and on a non-magnetised part of the track.
Last time I checked, that’s how physics worked pal.
Well you are talking about something else then. Everyone else is sliding on the flat bit after the magnetic track second part.
Read back what I wrote.
That’s what I was saying. Did you not take your anti passive-agressive pills this morning or something?
Pipe down.
Well I thought that part was flat. OK.
It’s cool man. I’m just trying to give some tips as to what worked for me as it may help anyone struggling.
It may not be that section that most have issues with but those almost vertical sidways sections have been an absolute nightmare from as far back as the original HotWheels.
On another note, If anyone is struggling greatly with it or can’t make it around the track without losing momentum, it might be worth trying it in an AWD S1 or S2 car as they carry more torque on inclines.
Worth a shot I guess…
Only took me 4-5 runs, and that was in an S2 car with trash grip.
