DJS challenge

did anybody do this? I gave it a couple of tries until I got the Gold time, it’s the most dramatic, deterministic handling I’ve felt in this game, definitely weird and fun way to kill a few minutes

Will give this a couple of runs later.

He’s added gravity and I would guess some tork/power to the blueprint. Basically same as running wemod. My first clean lap was 15 secs faster than my bttb time. At least it’s not putting the times in the lb. There’s another one like this for vista Del Mar I think? Says how much gravity and torque have been added.

That is awesome. INSANE MODE!!!

Took me about 20 mins :joy:

Gold, gold, gold :trophy::trophy::trophy::trophy:

02:10.298 - very happy with that :+1:

Insane mode is a beast on that track.

I am intrigued though, how does one create a supposed “insane mode”? I’ve never encountered it before tbh.

there’s physics stuff in the blueprint custom rules, I’m sure there’s tutorials online, I’ve never delved into it

Sneaking into gold was enough for me. I absolutely never got the hang of it and most efforts ended going inside of the first corner.

very different, missing tight turns on the inside

That was the biggest issue for me. More turning than what normally seems possible. Actually had a Supervan tunes for 998 but made a lot of changes to compensate for the blueprint. (Taller gears, stiffer, higher suspension. ) Shared that one with all the tweaks. First clean lap for me was 1:55.xx. Should work nicely for Hotwheels too I would guess.

I thought about making my own tune but I didn’t wanna get carried away, it’s weird running “rivals” like this with no ghost to measure your progress
