I do not know where Turn 10 gets the idea that realistic racing has AI that deliberately sabotage our progress in a race. There is nothing fun about trying to race clean against PRO level AI and have them deliberately wreck into us or pull in front of us and put the breaks on, this is not fun at all but VERY ANNOYING. Please just make the AI race clean fast and professional. The idea that racing against the AI is realistic is a joke. I never race with people who race dirty like that. THIS HAS TO STOP - IT IS NOT FUN.

The fundamental problem with the “drivatar” system is that Turn 10 thought people would enjoy racing against an AI that drives like people in multiplayer do. To make matters worse, the combination of short races, always starting in the middle of the pack, and always needing a podium finish makes it practically mandatory for people to drive like maniacs in single player as well. So as far as clean driving goes, you have to realize that all the incentives are stacked against encouraging it.
