Horrible graphics

I always loved Forza but when it came down to this now worthless game i dont known what to say. Playing on the 360 there is so much taken out of the game while comparing the 360 vs next gen. This game as i see it now is nothing but a rip off. I paid 60 dollars for a game that should be 20 dollars at the most. Im am very upset and will not be purchasing another game from this company. you guys should have put out a more high quality game that what you bought to the Xbox 360 community and I known im not the only one.

Well, you knew going into this a new studio was building it off of the old Horizon platform. It’s never been a secret that the priority, and baby of Turn 10 would be the Xbox One version and that, I must say, is absolutely stunning.

Sure, don’t buy another game from Sumo, but I wouldn’t write off Turn 10 or PG just yet.

How can you complain about graphics on an outdated system. You’re asking for a level of performance that the 360 physically cannot put out. It’s not like they made a game with terrible graphics, you’re just playing it on an outdated system. Quit your whining and buy an Xbox One. Guarantee you won’t have any graphics complaints then.

In a few years he will

He’ll have to climb down from his soapbox first

Did you think it was going to be xbox one quality graphics? Honestly, the gameplay is what you should be buying the game for anyway, and to be truthful, I really don’t think T10, PG, or Sumo really care about one person not buying their games.

I’m not sure if serious. My cousin has it for 360 and it looks WAAAAY better than Horizon 1. The car detail alone is much improved over FM4/Horizon and the environment is stunning for being on a 360. Sure it’s a bit less content but the 360 version nearly fills the DVD as it is, anymore content and it would require a 2nd disc. Honestly you should be thankful that developers are still catering to folks with 9 year old hardware nearly a year post release of the current generation consoles.

I really don’t understand the amount of people thinking that these new games that are cross generation should rival the current generation. This isn’t a Horizon 2 specific problem nor is it isolated to the Xbox crowd. People whined about Titanfall. People whined about Watchdogs. People whined about Battlefield. I could keeping going. With Dragon Age release getting closer I’m fully expecting this trend to continue.

Your comparing a 360 game to a next gen game… What exactly do you expect? Seriously you really think it’s gonna be as good as s next gen game? If so then what’s the point of even having a next gen? Hilarious…

It’s a troll account. Just ignore him. “Forza total=0”. Does anything more need to be said?

Actually, that is a listing for the Rewards program. He does play (13 achievements) Forza Horizon 2 on the Xbox 360.

I have a question. Did you honestly think that the 360 version would look anything like the Xbox One version?

I can say FH1, when it came out, was one of my most favorite games on X360. It was more casual than F4, which I liked and had great soundtrack. Also the atmosphere of the game was awesome. I was thrilled to play FH2 on X360, but after playing for about 4 hours straight I am disappointed.

In my opinion ( I am not going to compare anything with XO version as it is a game on entirely different level) graphics seems to be terribly downgraded compared to FH1. Cities seem to be not finished, buildings are just copy paste style, some are even 6 same in a row, which can be sometimes irritating. From time to time I felt like I was playing the game on the old xbox, textures are low resolution, terrain is very basic. Shifting while looking through the rear window is hilarious. Also cosmetic damage, completely useless( I know it can be turned off). The cockpit in a way of a detail is also downgraded, shading is very visible and everything feels like rushed and unfinished, glossy and not calibrated, just to deliver X360 version alongside XO version to earn more money.

The game itself, is very repetitive soon after the start. Free-roaming feels like, uhm, you can go through this field to the other side of the map, but lets build some irrational low quaility rock fence around the hill so no one can use it as a shortcut.

The game is full of bugs such as:

  • car floating over the track sometimes
  • rear wheels look like they are not moving while looking from the back
  • no dirt on cars
  • bugs with textures ( some building can be crossed through textures)
  • engine sounds are sometimes non-existent
-while applying the paint-job , some darker squares appear on the car while in a garage

On the other hand, I liked night races and the orange look of the game while the sun was going down. Racing against the attack helicopter was fun. The soundtrack is not that bad, but I came across better ones. Driving model remains unchanged, but AI is somewhat better this time.

I started the game with Toyota Supra and ended up with Audi RS4 and 250K Credits, for now. No need to buy anything better, yet. You earn credits pretty fast.

Take it as a European DLC for FH1.

Visuals are superb. That’s the first Forza i play from dashboard view. Textures are PC quality. Weather, rain, night looks amazing. Even 30 fps in-car view looks and feels OK for me 60 fps PC player.

There is hope for Xbone, LOL.
