Ok so while driving around in the demo I noticed the free roam ai had license plates & that the were repeating & not being generated randomly by the game.
At first me & my friend just figured they were all just initials & birth years, which seems plausible for most. But one is S AB1785 & by a google search seems to be a SAAB diagnostic trouble code.
now I cold just be reading more into these then was intended and they are just random letters and years made into basically a decal and put on the cars randomly but here is the list I have seen so far.
also are they the same in the Xbox one version demo/full?
these are guesses from google searches nothing more
S AB1785 possibly SAAB diagnostic trouble code
M CO1993
K SG1960
D AB1986 possibly referring to the Leyland DAB 9-948L year 1986
S FG1985 San Fransisco Giants?
G IB1960
Y LI1983
E SM 1997
S ON1993
D PG1986
P PE1993
J DE1985
A RM1989
360 demo link Forza Horizon 2 Demo ← for those who may say but there isn’t a 360 demo
not many roads to explore on the 360 demo & there are two average speed cameras, two speed trap cameras & 3 events if I remember right
so with not alot to do I noticed the plates & thought why 3 letters & four numbers? and all at the time were 19xx at the time so seemed like it was a year not just 4 numbers
but then again I dont know how euro plates are done so shrugs
Best I can tell the plates do not match current Italian license plate format and the closest match is Greece.
Except for the first plate in your list I’d suspect the plates were the initials of developers at either T10 or PG with their birth year. I haven’t paid much attention to the plates on the XB1 version. I may need to take a closer look next time I’m roaming the countryside.
