Banned License Plates

Hi,
im experiencing an issue when trying to input a license plate into this game that i onced owned in real life, i sold the plate to a film studio many years back and have seen it in countless commercials and motion pictures of many genres, its a non offensive plate yet i see your company deems it as foul language… any ideas? the plate in question is " 455 KO" … why should it be banned guys? come on… could we un-ban this please?
best

455 is 1337-speak for that part of the body that you do a number 2 from. That’s probably why.

Haha!! Oh my! I didn’t realise that lol! thank you

Yup, that’s why. There was another thread discussing this where someone said “717” was banned, and it would also follow that same logic. Numbers can stand for letters, so that would explain it.Here’s a breakdown:0 = O1 = I2 = Z3 = E4 = A5 = S6 = G7 = T8 = B9 = gCorrect me if I’m wrong.

Cant help you but would like to hear more about the story of the plate.

As would I!

The censorship of plates is a bit much though, especially when it’s a real plate.

The XBL censor is ridiculous.

You find/hear stronger language in Disney films. Not joking.

Worldwide. Microsoft is really harsh when it comes to this, no matter whether it’s in gamertags or license plates or descriptions for liveries, tunes … It’s a bit sad because they tend to ignore ban requests for racially or otherwise offensive gamertags (at least nothing ever happened to those I reported).

Trust me there are ways around this. I seen a few plate numbers that should be blocked. When I saw it I laughed because I couldn’t believe they got away with it.

We’re all playing games in the world of Xbox Live. The regulations of the Microsoft Code of Conduct and their filters of unallowable items are the law, and in the case of Forza Motorsport or Forza Horizon, Turn 10 is the judge deciding the penalty for such violations. There is no jury trial here, no excuses.

We agree to abide by the rules (Code of Conduct) and signifying that we’ve read and understood them before we create our Xbox Live accounts.

People who believe they’re exempt from the Code or try to imply certain words to trick the system are in for a rude awaking and the penalties are spelled out clearly:\

"CONSEQUENCES
A violation of the Microsoft Code of Conduct may be cause for these or other actions:
Automatic assignment of a new Gamertag, if you create an inappropriate Gamertag.
Content deletion, if you create or use inappropriate Content.
Restrictions (e.g., communications, multiplayer, account access) on your use of Xbox Live services, if you abuse those services.
Permanent suspension or device ban, if you commit an egregious violation that includes, but is not limited to: hacking, modding, profile tampering, fraud, trading or stealing accounts or Gamertags, severe racial remarks, impersonating Xbox staff, displaying nudity, repeatedly creating inappropriate Gamertags or profile content, distributing URLs to phishing sites.
Permanent suspension or device ban, if you try to avoid suspension with alternate accounts and/or devices.
Permanent suspension or device ban, if you repeatedly commit violations.
UPON RECEIVING A PERMANENT SUSPENSION, YOU FORFEIT ALL CONTENT LICENSES, GOLD MEMBERSHIP TIME, AND MICROSOFT ACCOUNT BALANCES ASSOCIATED WITH THE SUSPENDED ACCOUNT.

If we wish to use Xbox Live to play games, you’re expected to adhere to the regulations. If we don’t, there are serious consequences.

Trust me.
