The Honda Civic Type-R 2018 within the games is placed in “Sport” driving mode by default with no ability to change it to other driving modes like some other vehicles.
Sport mode performs and handles very differently to “Comfort” and “R+” driving modes, the latter of which would be used when putting the vehicle on a track or racing it.
- Stiffer suspension
- Tighter and more responsive steering.
- More sensitive throttle response.
- Changes the visuals of the dashboard instrument cluster.
This wouldn’t be as much of an issue if the game’s version of the vehicle didn’t feel like they were actually in Sport mode. This also applies to Forza Motorsport (2023).
