Homologation - Restrictor plates

Is it possible to get additional sizes added to the restrictor plates? Reasoning being that cars like the '17 ZL1, we’re only able to put the on the restrictor plate & the division required sport tires. If we had the ability to restrict the power further, it’ll give us greater flexibility when doing a manual homologation build.

Or the ability to swap in less powerful engines.

A “Race” level restrictor plate.

You will then have a slider in the tuning menu that allows you to choose a percentage of maximum engine power that the engine will be restricted to.

A seriously simple concept that is uniform with how other bits of the the upgrade system works and also, really should be simple to implement.

But this is Forza, execution of concept is either heavy handed, short sighted or both.

This doesn’t work well in Forza because tuning doesn’t affect PI nor power ratings. So you can add a race restrictor plate and nothing is stopping you from opening it up and using max power all the time.

Project CARS has boost control as well as restrictor openings. But everyone runs the restrictors maxed out all the time, and the boost control only makes sense in qualifying, as it’ll kill the engine very quickly.

or having the ability to change to a more powerful engine that has also a restrictor?

Wait they do that.

I wish there was an ability to dislike a post. Your douchey-ness was unnecessary and added nothing to the thread.
