Decided on a strategy of trying out more of the cars in each category so I think I’ll steer clear of whatever is occupying the top spots for the time being and build up to (hopefully) a competitive time nearer the end
Well I tried but sorry Moss, just couldn’t get any closer than half a second to my time in the #11 Rockstar so switched to the Titan FE & got a 1:46.006 with Potbox’s tune.
To be honest, Ghost Recon Breakpoint has had nearly all my attention recently so only jumped on this avo and ran a handful of the Trailcat tunes you guys put up. Struggled like mad & nearly gave up but managed to find a couple of seconds on my ghost. Definitely not a fan of Cross Country, I got a decent enough time with minimal attempts and hats off for the stunning runs at the top of the leaderboard - there wasn’t ONE clean run I did which didn’t feel more by luck than judgment…
** PB = 1:44.171 Jeep Trailcat tuned by GReddy295 **
Only tried the Nissan Titan FE so far. After having several attempts where I rolled it over - damn thing is incredibly unstable - I managed a few clean runs. Up to WR24 of 3,037 drivers now.
Sadly, that’s not enough to take the early lead as Haulmarc has put in a sparkling 1.46.0. Kudos!
Went quicker in the Trailcat. Pretty sure I was on for a top 10 time until making a bit of a mess of the ending. Felt like I lost a second or so going on a little detour after the football net.
Happy to place 2nd in Tier 2, not sure if that’ll happen too often LoL. Cross Country isn’t my forte so I’ll be relying even more on the tunes you all share.
1:42.803 in the trailcat, tune shared. A lot of luck over the jumps, and trying not to catch the stone walls on those narrow sections is a tad stressful
Going to try the DD Wrangler next, has that bit of extra weight and length to soak up the smaller bumps that tend to upset the Trailcat, but the Trailcat has plenty left in it just looking at the LB. Can’t wait to get my hands on that DD F-150 though.
Excellent time Jonathon! I had one go earlier using your tune and it felt a lot more stable than the one I was using on the Trailcat last night, so think I could improve using it. Not sure I’ll be able to close up over 2 seconds though!
Also tried DJS’s tune for the Rally Fighter. Felt hellishly quick but I couldn’t get a clean run in it at all. Also has a habit of taking off in an entirely random direction over the first jump. If someone can master it, there’s a quick time in there but it will need to be a better driver than me!
I see Platinum is WN1 both at the S1 event which was “the Rivals” event at this course and WN1 at the A class event. I’m guessing the current times are going to be blown out of the water when she does set a time!
I forgot to mention my Trailcat tune was with sport transmission unfortunately
I’ve just updated the tune to “Humphrey Drift 2” with stock brakes where the old one has race brakes. I might reupload another version with stronger brakes which most people would prefer, but likely to be slower overall.
1:48.476 in Horizon’s equivalent to a Space Hopper!
I’m done for this evening, will definitely give the Trailcat tunes a go… might be after the weekend because Breakpoint is out tomorrow.
