HLR HLCs Series 3 - That's All Folks, Hope to Return Next Year

Oh my, I guess I should actually play the game, huh!? Lol thanks for the heads up!

Ok, so I am cool with some of these tracks in rivals, just me on the track but man! But really tiny checkpoints with drivatars with those mountains and rivers and trees, lol! But it was worth it. Thanks again, for the heads up, Jezza, I wouldn’t have seen it.

Built my DeBerti Jeep, 7.2 of course. Supercharger. Still playin’ with it but I like it!

Down to 1:50.344. I’ll share it when I’m happy with it.

Sorry Zepp. Should have mentioned it was quite a tough event. That river run is particularly tricky.

Ran the event a few more times. I can see how I can improve slightly but don’t see currently how I can gain the 0.7 seconds to catch Thumby and Hallmarc. Just a bit too quick for me.

Liking the new tune for the Titan Potbox. Ran a 1.42.8 so probably could edge my Trailcat time if I get a perfect run.

Awesome, glad to hear it Jezza! I shaved a couple seconds from my own time with the new tune, and I might have a tiny bit of tinkering left. I like having this 2-week window to really work on a car. Now if I could just learn to drive…

1:43.770 - Still in the Jeep with HLR Thumby’s tune :+1:

That took some doing, controller very nearly went through the window on several occasions lol😁

It’s definitely that sort of course, especially on S1. I only seem to be able to get past the second jump in good shape on about 1 in 10 attempts and there’s plenty of room for error after that - my particular favourite is clipping the church. I don’t think I will improve further.

Well done for sticking at it Wan! I spent another half hour on this and got too frustrated… as Jezza says there are just too many places for things to go wrong. When I did manage a clean run I was so far off the pace so called it a day. Here’s to the next one!

Thx for using my tune, glad it did you well.

I spent an hour last night using this tune and thought it was excellent. I ran a 1.42.0 dirty and messed up some other runs which would have been quicker. The upshot though was that I failed miserably to get a clean run - I seemed totally unable to get the second main jump right - so didn’t manage to improve my previous best at all.

Kudos for the new WR! Great time which is far beyond my capabilities even if I could actually manage a clean run!

Finishing with a 1:41.902, using Platinum’s tune. Was running faster on some runs but this track gave me a right old beating

I think that’s relegated me to tier 2 which is well deserved. Couldn’t quite get the hang of this one!

Great fun everybody! Thanks to those who tried my tune

I’ve been totally incapacitated with a flu virus since Saturday, so apologies for less time than usual spent on the prize liveries and LB updating.

I stil don’t understand why this track is so popular, but I do understand why less than 10% of drivers have a clean lap. It is tough to drive it fast and clean.

The Trailcat was the most popular and successful car. iMuecke claimed top spot, and a WR early doors, closely followed by TDU1PlatinumMod, with HLR Thumby, haulmarc, and xxJ0n4Th0Nxx filling top 10 positions. All that changed near the end when 2 drivers swapped new WR times. One of those drivers was our old friend, and champion driver, GReddy295, who claims the win. Welcome back GReddy295,

Great driving everyone!

Here is a snapshot of the final standings:

Congratulations to our winners:

Tier 1 Winner: GReddy295 wins a paint for his Jeep Trailcat.

Tier 2 Winner: HLR Thumby wins a paint for his Jeep Trailcat.

Tier 4 Winner: Potbox wins a paint for his Nissan Titan FE.
