That was actually quite fascinating to watch.
Nice comparison.
I know what I defined as a TRUE muscle car. What I canāt understand is why someone would call a modern Challenger a muscle car (Yes it is a āmodern eraā muscle car) and exclude the modern era Camaro and Mustang from the same classification. Thereās just nothing you can say to make sense so donāt even bother because it will be just babble rabble rubbish to me. Just doesnāt make sense.
Modern era Muscle Cars (without question)
Dodge Challenger
Chevrolet Camaro
Ford Mustang
Questionable entry
Dodge Charger
Chevy and Ford as far as I can say have no cars which fall into the questionable entry category.
Challenger charger are muscle car because of its intended missionā¦to be fast everyday cars
Mustang and Camaros are sports carsā¦comprimised everyday functionality in the name of speedā¦both in a straight line and around a bend.
Ats/cts/ct4/5 v sports sedansā¦aka super saloons
Corvette sports car through track toy dependent on variation.
/thread
āJust because you want it to be a muscle car doesnt make it oneā
^^^Musclecar = big V8 + focus on straightline speed + everyday usability
Mustang and Camaro, are not sports cars by any definition of the vehicle.
As you so eloquently stated: and I refer to YOUR quote, āSdotjeezy says, Just because you want it to be a muscle car doesnāt make it oneā. Therefore, just because you āSDotjeezyā want it to be a sports cart doesnāt make it one.
You canāt go on and just make up your own classifications of cars the way you want them to be. Follow the rules that have been made since the creation of the automobile.
And a track toy isnāt really a vehicle classification. The Corvette, all generations, is a true sports car. Whether itās used for a track toy or a family (of 2) car.
Caddyās Sports sedans yeah you got that right but not super saloons. And the Charger is better suited into this classification than as a muscle car.
So just stop making up rules as you like to fit your own mold.
So there.
Itās all psycobabble rap to me. Thank you Alan Parsons! Moving along now, nothing more to see here.
Blah blah blahā¦youre wrong
Always good to see intellectual debate on this platformā¦ Anyways,ā¦ Wasnt this about the series update
@McFlufferten got to the point, even though Iām a true Mopar fan, that I couldnāt take anymore of mr blahblahās rhetoric and had to speak up. Now Iāll probably be the next on the banned wagon. But thatās ok, so many good posters have already been axed by mad max that this forum is on itās death roll anyway. If I get banned it wonāt much matter Iāve pretty much had it with the power hungry around here anyway canāt enjoy the place anymore. If I get banned I probably wonāt even be around to know. If you can hang out here, have fun, but not too much. They kinda frown on having fun in the forums. It can get you banned!
infinity for the APP reference
Iām 51 and I agree 100%. A Pontiac GTO is a muscle car. A four door Pontiac LeMans is notā¦
The Huracan STO is also very good, but the 935 feels special in its own way. S1 feels like it got a nice boost with these two.
Are polls for Series 20 still coming?
Gt7 just got a new Alfa romeo, i dont play the game, surely Horizon 5 can get the missing brands back
You would thinkā¦but a burnt up bridge or a back stabbing side deal from a competitor could stop that from happening. Hopefully weāll see them soon but I have my doubts.
