I struggle to think of many professions where you can screw up this badly, this often, and still retain employment.
I got the 700 unique badge. I donāt polish my nails and I donāt have the special controller.
How ?
Lol Iām not sure but I have it.
Hahahaā¦ OK Probably Forza math then ! Enjoy the shiny badge Not worried, Iāll get it someday.
I wouldnāt be surprised if it was related to my achievement hiccup I posted about further up.
For the people keeping track at home, I got he same achievement eight times (so far).
If their game is this messed up why canāt they do free open beta testing before each update? I know two games that do it properly.
Youāre mistaken.
Considering the team left PGG, now new people are only getting to know how stuff works.
Also everybody congratulated each other on messy game at start and nothing was fixed ā¦ and still isnāt.
Why change working tactics now ā¦ lol
Seeing also how dark side of Forza looks like, Iām not expecting much.
Show us a pic.
My bad, the blue heart is for 600 cars. Iām at 692 of 700.
I got 694 (no super duper special cars from buying nail polish and stuff). Which ones are you missing?
Can we talk about how there has never been an option to setup a shiftlight on the HUD?
Colors, Lights, Blink Patterns, etc.
Hey @RikkiTorment this topic is for discussion about whatās in Series 20 - for future feature ideas please use the Suggestions Hub:
Somebody had mentioned that they were using manual in the last stream showcasing the update but I havenāt varified it myself.
There are developers that are outsourcing at least parts of such testing to other āindependentā entities. Besides that closed or public beta-tests are something that are done quite often actually. The last closed one I took part in was for Armored Warfare IIRC and I also have the āBetaā badges for WoT for example.
I also know a personnel services/temporary work company here thatās offering jobs in computer game testing. Thatās often quite lame stuff like building some objects in a strategy game thousand times in a row to see if anything goes wrong or checking for issues with collisions, mapborders and stuff like this.
Thatās one of the problems with PGG. While other developers release hotfixes for issues like that sometimes hours after they become known PGG is taking ages to address such issues or simply ignores them.
At best itās absolutely sloppy. I am genuinely baffled as to how this update was allowed to escape. Imagine loading up a boxing game and your character immediately hits themself in the head.
Or an FPS where you immediately drop a live grenade at your feet.
Letting updates go where you break core components of your game should be just cause for, at minimum, staying home for a week and thinking about what you did. Unpaid, too, but thatās just me and my expectation of what punishment Iād earn for being bad at my job.
I mean, it happens, maybe they were just going for realismā¦
I keep wondering when they will finally throw up their hands and say uncle ? Time to hit the big reset button and start from v1.0.0.0
