Here's a statistic for you

I’ve found that 90% of the facts and statistics here are actually personal opinions.

Learn to anticipate the crasher’s patterns and dodge 'em. Fake 'em out when they go to blockade you, or torpedo you in the corner. Tap the brakes just before they pit you, and watch them sail into the tirewall. I’ve won/medalled in as many races by weaving through crashes and between upside-down, spinning vehicles as I have through speed and nice lines, no joke.

Above all, DO NOT RETALIATE, lest you be labelled a crasher yourself!

Give each other some space, and no one has to DNF.

There are idiots on every platform, on every multiplayer game and every online mode.

Here’s a statistic: (insert totally random, made up on the spot number here) statistics are made up on the spot. I think I used that as my siggy on the old forums, and every time I logged in, I changed the number.

OK 90% is obviously just a stat pulled out of the air to reinforce his point, but I’d bet he is closer to the truth than we think.

I rarely race online. I am a huge fan of Grand Prix Legends and have been for many years on the PC where you have to race clean or the damage your car picks up puts you down the field or out of the race. In public Forza a LARGE % (you see what I did there) totally ignore race etiquette and have no qualms smashing into you on purpose. The reason ? Very little consequences and most have no clue about real racing. Car won’t be damaged in any great way to affect the performance and they won’t be thrown out of the race.

Constantly having to mute people playing crappy drum and bass music into their mic or having lengthy phone conversations while playing does my head in too.

Are 90% of people who play this game idiots ? Of course not. But his game seems to attract more people who intentionally spoil the game for others than any other game I play online.

I usually have good luck in ABC’s and of course you need no luck when dealing with no-collisions. There are good rooms out there elsewhere as well when you start using block on the people you don’t want to race with and hop to another room. Sometimes that just takes a while and sometimes when you find it it only lasts a while. I do feel like they made the game a trolls paradise which is why it’s so crazy but there are ways around it. Seems like lots of things in this game are workarounds.

Sure there is, use the block and report features of XBL. Once you block them you will not get put in to a lobby with them by the matchmaking system. If they get reported, and then get caught in the act they will get banned from XBL.

That’s why I avoid multiplayer on any racing game besides Mario Kart.

I might not agree with the 90% part, but I have heard about alot of crashers who like to cause anarchy on the track just to win.
