Hey

So I got the FM6 game for £25 when it was on sale - I was also in the xbox preview program then. I’ve left the program, come to play the game and it is asking for a disc - I got it digitally, I have the mail to prove the purchase but it is telling me i have to pay £49.99 to get the game

Any help or support would be awesome right now

If you brought the game on a console that is running the latest preview OS, it’ll only be recognized on consoles running the current preview OS for now due to the store in the current public OS not supporting purchases made from the store of the OS currently in preview. You can either rejoin the preview program by reenrolling into the latest update preview if you want to get back to playing FM6 or wait for the summer update to arrive to everyone where the new store will be fully in place.

Thanks for that, so you’re saying that because I brought it whilst in the program, I have to stay in the program to play it??

You will have to have a console enrolled in the preview program for now if you want to get back to playing FM6 ASAP due to the store of the current public build of the Xbox One’s OS not being able to recognize purchased content from the upcoming store found in the preview updates this summer. This update will show up on everyone’s consoles later this summer which is when the upcoming store will replace the current store.

You don’t have to be in the preview program to play your purchased digital copy of FM6 once the summer update goes public, but you’ll need to enroll your console back into the preview program if you want to play that game before that update goes out to everyone.

You can request a refund from MS and then re-purchase it. But just know that they restrict you to how many games you can refund per year so this could potentially stop you from obtaining refunds on future purchases.

but I don’t want a refund of £25 then have to pay 2x that amount for the game, that’s just silly

You need to read the preview program information. It very clearly states the process of purchases while in the testing phase. August 13 isn’t that far away, so I would just sit tight.
