I’ve always always adored this Alfa over all others. It just has a curious quirk about it, and that to me makes it beautiful. I envy the owner of this ride!! Keep her neat friend!
Not a big fan of alfa romeo’s but the engine is very clean and it has a great sound. Id like to see a video of the cars acceleration, That cars definitely a head turner!

Really good looking Alfa Romeo GTV I especially like the metallic blue paint it has. I pretty much like all Alfa Romeo cars it will be nice to see some of them here on the road in the US again once the brand gets reintroduced here with the new Spider next year. Plus that car will be made by Mazda another car brand that I like a lot.

This car would be wonderful in the Texas Hill Country, there are lot of sweepers and straits ide love to see the lil car go down. The grass blowin down gently as the car drives into the apex on the left hand turn, the throaty roar as the engine pulls up through 6 grand, and a quick shift…and do it all over again. the clouds and sun passing over the paint the color of the spring sky, going down under the trees that arch over the road, the newly budded leaves shaking at the passing…ya, life is awsome when you get to wring out your favorite ride. Hope he enjoys and gets many many miles of smiles from his ride!
Great article and thanks for showing us a great ride!

I love Alfa’s there all about driving and looks, no horrible eco-boxes for this brand.
Even a Mito is riddled with nice details. But this one is really nice.
Hope one day I’l own an alfa too, although I’m saving up to buy a BMW 2001 E39 M5
with that AWESOME v8.
But great job on this Alfa, hope I’l have the pleasure of one day owning a original 2000 GTV
or something from the early days.
Lovely car. Easily my favourite Alfa. The noise of the V6 is full of character and charm. The styling still looks crisp even by today’s standards. In fact if anything this car looks even more striking and attractive than it did at launch. I’d even go so far as saying that the GTV is better looking that Alfa’s most recent 4C (which reminds me too much of a Lotus Evora).
I also admire Michael’s approach in terms of keeping the car stock, but it wouldn’t be my approach. I’d have been tempted to swap the rotors out for drilled and slotted discs, lower the ride height and upgrade the exhaust for even more delicious noise.
But heck, we’re not all the same so keep going Mr. Wyles. You’re car gets a thumbs up from me.
That’s a nice little car there, I really like that blue color on it. It’s also true that Alfa owners have a strong connection with each other and with their car.
Jhon thank you for this great HMA.
I know this ride is quite a bit different to the usual modified greats which appear on HMA, but I’m pleased so far you are all enjoying it.
I too would love to drive it in America especially through Texas. I loved Knight Rider and have always wanted a Pontiac Trans Am replica, the GTVs’ rear light cluster reminds me of the Trans Am!
I hope one day Turn 10 will feature the GTV phase 3 in Forza 5. Would be even better if it’s in the Blu Lightning
If there are any tuners out there who want to help me on Forza 5 that would be amazing. I like to hit the leaderboards but I have yet to learn the secrets of tuning. Just give me the keys and I’ll drive…
well my honest opinion of this car is…awesome and im not buttering up or anything lol I love the body style, that’s one of my favorite shapes in American, japanese or euro, I like the back end a lot and the front…not too fond of the license plate in the front but not much you can do bout that if its the law.
Thanks for the great comment! The phase 1 and 2 GTVs had the number plate in the centre but due to the large grill they had to position it on the left. I agree it’s annoying - in a museum I would take it off
hello johnny nice hma_
to Micheal i would say"whats an incredible blue, wouah i lov it",_I seen a GTV in a french car magazine the guy is sell it for 2500e i thinking about to buy it,i need another car.
but i dont now if we find the pieces for, when the car begins to hav problems. I’d never possess an Alfa @ noone in my friend cercle hs one.
To be honest…in my oppinion the only Italien car is Ferarri.
But of course it looks nice and clean and I would be proud to call a car like this my own:-D
I always like people who recognize, that every car has it’s own soul… and that article is the proof. I like the way Wyles loves his car so much and if we won’t be crazy enough to do such a thing, the motor culture will die in any way…
By the way, the old 90s Alfas were the last with that wonderful V6 engine. Farewell. Thanks Fiat Chrysler.

Beautiful car Mr. Wyles; can’t go wrong either in going with blue! Aside, I’ve slowly been developing a soft interest in Alfa’s and equally hope that the rumor is true that Alfa’s might someday return to U.S. shores. SO Turn 10, what do you say? Think this car could be featured in a future car pack? Because I’m already imagining a build sheet for this GTV.
