The headlights on cars should be turned off for daytime races. Only at night time should they be on. Is there anyway you can fix that for the next update and turn car headlights off for the daytime and the flip out lights for the 1969 Dodge Charger should be flipped closed in the day time. Thank you.

Really…? Does this affect your game play? Are your lap times a bit slow because your lights are on? Come on… NO THERE’S NO WAY TO TURN THEM OFF!

+1, does it really matter? I can’t say I even notice… I’m to busy concentrating on racing.
There are far more important things to fix on this game than turning the headlights off.
If it were the wipers on when the sun’s out then fair enough, that would be annoying 
, but lights not a problem.

Plus you can turn them off in photo mode, which is really the only time having them on would be a problem anyway…

on during replays as well completely ruins the look of the this car! it has a certain sinister presence about it which is completely removed when the the headlights are exposed in the daytime, I watched dukes of hazard too never cared for the politics behind the confederate flag on the roof, but its the south(detested it actually but its authentic i’ll give it that) but as kid this car with no headlights(which I didn’t know where hide-a-ways at the time, scared the complete sheet out of me which I came to appreciate as I grew older, if your fan of the car you would understand its like a monster or demon with no eyes its just more intimidating they went thru all of the trouble to remodel this car with the intro of Forza 5 cause the forza 2-4 charger rt 440 se model had some serious fender, chrome, and proportional discrepancies and they go and do this! the other cars with hide-a-way lights don’t have all the same errors or issues its easily fixable if they want to…
Aerodynamically Flip up lights could hurt your lap times by up to 9 seconds on some cars …NOT.

Is this a new thing? I drive the 94 Miata and 69 Charger all of the time and have never noticed the head lights being on.
So what is the major problem they say? I found many little glitch but not big one.
I think this is a very reasonable request - at least we should have the option to turn them off. The parking lights only/LED lights in FM5 looked so cool during the day. In 6, they seem a little bright even though the sun’s out.
There really ought to be an option to turn them on/off on command. Personally it doesn’t make much sense to have full headlights on during the day, though some race cars have them on by default as they need to discharge some of the juice from those huge batteries.

I agree with this post, turn the headlights off during the day.
In race toggle would be good, you could turn them on to warn slow cars your overlapping, but it doesn’t bother me either way.

Like the Drivatars and AI’s would notice. There spatial awareness is already terrible. As for online, you’d have too many idiots who would get annoyed/ticked off and wreck you. Trust me, I fully understand the purpose, but not everybody will understand it/accept it.

Agreed, cars like the Charger have their grills open but no lights which just looks silly.
I knew exactly what car the OP was talking about when I read the title of the post. I have to admit it is something that irks me too. If you have the livery like The General Lee it looks especially strange because that I know of they were never exposed on the TV show. The movie yes, in one scene they were out at night only.
If the game had '69 Rally Sport Camaro those headlights would be exposed too. According to what the Charger has happening.
Other cars that have flip up headlights like the 87 T/A and the 90’s Vette etc. The lights are down during the day and up by night.
A small note if you ever have or had a car with flip up or out lights. Don’t forget to clean the lights!! I had 3 Gen 3 T/A’s and if you haven’t cleaned them in a while WOW does it make a difference!!
