Hello everybody.
Has anyone tried headtracking with kinect or is it a waste of time, like the kinect. If anyone has and had success with it would they give me some pointers to get the most out of the experience.
I love the head tracking and have it set up perfectly. It allows me to look in the offside wing mirror or to see in the rear view mirror properly when some cars only show half the rear view mirror in the interior.
However i find the sound switching when you turn your head to be very anoying and unrealistic the sound should not change just because you move your head if Turn 10 fixed that bug then head tracking would be awesme
Thanks for the reply. What settings would you regard as perfect?
That really depends on your personal preference you can play about with the sensitivity slider till you find a setting you like. But as i said ive got my setup perfectly for me i can look around the cockpit and glance into the offside mirror easily. The only problem is the annoying sound changes as you move your head if Turn 10 fixed that bug then head tracking would be awesome.
I turned it on and had it working great. Turned it off a race later because of the sound change, very jarring and makes shifting by ear difficult.
