Have to complete rally adventure before playlist challenges become available?

I don’t mind if I miss the shirt. I like my Raptors race suit. But I do mind others having to make that choice. I get people wanting to unlock everything possible and 100% the game, but also not want to rush the DLC. It’s not a pleasant choice really as each option feels like a compromise to me.

Done 100% of Sierra Nuevo. Very easy. Nothing difficult really. I don’t like this at all. Oh well.

Managed to get enough done to unlock the playlist items. Took a couple of hours tops.

The completionists are going to get it done one way or the other, and those that don’t care about getting all of the playlist points won’t bother.

Really not much of an issue IMHO.

It’s not the hours, it’s the forced binge of the content. I want to enjoy the meal and the atmosphere, sitting down at a nice table with ambiance, savor the company, have some interesting conversation, peruse the adult beverages and desert tray… not burn through the drive through with a car load of screaming kids and wolf down the food while fighting traffic to get home to the chores.

I have a couple of ALT accounts I usually play 100% playlist every week but I’m not doing the SLC with them, really can’t be bothered. I have just completed it on my daughter’s account so that she has all the items/cars etc.

When I won the Badlands Goliath the achievement popped and I noticed it said only 0.09% of players unlocked that. I know it’s only day two but that was a surprise. (Thinking aloud I’ll have to unlock that on an ALT account next Thursday morning see how many have done it by then. I’m guessing the number will be < 10%.)

The base game Goliath achievement has only been popped by 16.06% of the people that have played the game and the Hot Wheels Goliath is only at 1.54%.

The Hall of Famer achievement in the base game is only at 10.12% and the achievement for completing the HW kickoff expedition is 6.31%. So just under 25% of the people that started the HW DLC have completed the HW Goliath.

I imagine the percentages would be higher if you could come up with a way to filter out people that just sampled the game in Game Pass. (Game Pass plus, say, less than 2 hours playtime? Though it gets trickier if someone qualified for that but purchased DLC.)

Completionists represent a small fraction of the overall player base, though they’re also dedicated enough that they can become a vocal minority.

PG has not done right by us for a long time. How about two weeks per playlist? I’m tired of doing this. People take a vacation and miss stuff. Its really not very fair. How about fixing it so I don’t get a penaltiy for someone pushing me into a wall :man_shrugging:. How about when someone is next to me pushing pushing pushing, GHOST THEM. Oh the mirror is a little off let’s fix that. Yes sir right away. Ignore everything else. Really? Just get rid of the wall penalty. It’s awful in the Sierra Nuevo. I did do multiplayer just to get the accolades there’s walls everywhere angled idiotically into the driving line. You’re gonna hit them it’s impossible not too. They put rocks on the side of the road that fling you spastically off the track. What’s going on? It’s a joke. We deserve better. I don’t post cause I have nothing good to say anymore. PEOPLE DO NOT BRAKE FOR HAIRPINS as it is. Hey let’s build an expansion and have hairpins all over the place. Non stop. Am I crazy? :man_facepalming:How come FM knows not to put things on the track to intentionally mess you up? Haha here’s a rock for no reason right where you might mess up a little. It’s not funny PG. I rarely hit wall in FM because they are angled normally. I’ve spent way more time playing FM than Horizon so I know this should not be. Please release FM soon I can’t take much more Horizon. 4 and 5 back to back with no FM in between is just too much. Rant over. See you in 3 months. Nothing will change… Sorry life has been shall we say challenging lately.

Ugh…I didn’t even realize it was an actual reward like a shirt, instead of just a disposable Super Wheelspin. That’s even worse! Seriously, who the hell is making the calls on this garbage?

The same kind of people who can’t be bothered to fix bugs that have been present for a year or more.

Exactly. Couldn’t have said it better myself. It’s clear that most devs these days just do what their oligarchs tell them to do. I don’t blame them as much as the ones that come up with these decisions.

They simply don’t care….now they don’t even bother hiding it. It doesn’t really bother me that much and isn’t surprising. I was going to finish it fast anyways, knowing full well that depth clearly isn’t the priority with this expansion pass.

So far I understand “exclusive” are cars new to the game and “hard to find” are the other non-autoshow cars.

Outside Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon are 2 total different games, especially in where the boundaries are. And it is actually pretty offtopic.

Ghosting is a big joke indeed. I get pushed in the wall because ghosting doesn’t protect me, then when I try to return the favour, he gets protected by ghosting.

“hard-to-find” basically means it doesn’t show up in wheelspins or the autoshow (and I think, isn’t a barn find or accolade car) and “exclusive” means it’s appearing for the first time in the game (and, I think, gets called “hard-to-find”)

It stinks that events and items are locked behind finishing the DLC in a couple of days. Had to do a marathon of races for hours just to finish the playlist and now I have hardly any of the DLC left to enjoy because I was forced to play the whole thing instantly. They did the same thing with Hot Wheels. Makes no sense. It makes me feel like I paid for nothing because I get zero enjoyment plowing through the whole thing instantly like that. Seems to me the smart thing to do would be to wait a couple of months before adding expansion events to the playlist.

If you are a playlist completionist, PGG probably thinks they have you in the bag anyway as you will continue to do so in the base game regardless of how quickly you play through the expansion.

What PGG seems to care more about is doing whatever is needed to grab those precious casual player metrics so that’s the market they want to avoid ticking off even if it means hardship for you, the already bound and secured core player.
