Festival Playlist after the Expansion launch

Hello fellow Forza Horizon 5 enjoyers! (That was a cringe into… Sorry)

As my experience with Horizon franchise begins and ends on FH5, so I do not know how the games handled expansions in the past, so I have a question to veterans of the series, or just a discussion of the future. So here we go…

Any ideas how festival playlist will work after the release of the Slightly Warm Wheels DLC?
Right now we get races, challenges and car restrictions (and rewards) based solely on base game, however after the expansion release will the weekly playlist include DLC races, challenges and restrictions, thus making it impossible to complete by players without the expansion? Or maybe the playlist will remain the same as it is now (vanilla only)? Or maybe there will be an additional playlist for DLC owners? Or maybe there will be separate playlists for vanilla and DLC players?

Any thoughts?

The playlist started in FH4. There, there are seasonal events and pr stunts in each of the DLC, but it’s not part of the playlist.

Ditto. You should be able to complete the weekly playlist without having the Hot Wheels expansion. I always did the events in H4 as they gave additional wheel spins etc.

Yeah, but what’s really interesting is that Forza guys already announced that expansion activities ‘will count towards your weekly playlist completion’. This is kinda crazy, and I’m also eager to know the details, especially how they are planning to do that for people who didn’t buy the expansion.

Just like they did for people who didn’t buy the vip or car pass add-ons. They’ll nerf everything like wheelspins and such so regular players will get screwed over. Trying to force everyone into buying the high-end game add-ons.
