Has anyone tried transferring FM5 tunes?

Has anyone tried manually transferring any FM5 tunes yet? If it’s even possible, I don’t know if the increments/measurements are the same. If so though let us know how it went.

*for the record to avoid a flame war or any off topic posts I’m not asking about a file transfer from the two games, I’m talking about writing the tune down and then applying it to a Horizon 2 car.

the tuning settings look as tho they are the same, i used my base stats for a gtr tune i knew off the top of my head and they seems to work fine in FH2, just as long as ur matching the upgrades and what not with what the tune was for

The “Three Minute Tune” seems to be working quite well so far and I have only had to tweak one or two cars beyond the primary setting.

They do seem to be the same as FM 5. But it’s hard to say how they really handle all around. Horizon 2 is just so different. I have made a few tunes in H2, but testing them and all that is just not the same. Sure they handle well and go fast, but it is so hard to pin point what makes a good tune and bad tune so far. In time I am sure we will see more of what does and what does not work in H2. Either way it is a fun game.

I bought the 1994 Mazda MX-5 Miata Gen 1. I have practiced tuning it a lot in FM 5. I applied all the same settings from FM 5 to Horizon 2 and the car handles a lot better on the road. I can’t make any statement about off road.

I should be a little clearer. I have lots of tunes for the Miata. I applied a tune from the Alpine Festival track. It seemed the closest to Horizon 2.

I have found everything works transferring over except for one. Camber numbers have to be a lot lower than what they were in FM5.
