While having a few league races tonight coming upto the finish line off last lap I would have been in lets say 9th place but when cross the line and race is over says I was 10th. There was nobody near me as they were about 200ft away. I thought I noticed it few times earlier but thought I was mistakeing but it definitely happened on my last race off the night.

I’ve had it happen a few times. Sometimes its a couple spots. I think it probably has something to do with lag.
So iam not the only person then thought I was imagining it.
It’s happened to me both way been in front and put me a place or two and also been behind and it’s moved me up a place or two
When I go back it’s down to lag when I move up its because I’m a great driver

iv had it happen was in 1st from lap 1 but crossed line came 2nd same thing next race so I recorded it watched it back and a car not even registered in lobby appeared in front of me actually stuck to my front bumper moving perfectly in sync with my inputs not sure lag caused this looked more like a hack to me.i messaged the culprit simply asked “why?” got no reply but he went offline.
only noticed this because I never usually win it’s bad enough dealing with smashers but this takes it to the next level.

From my experience and understanding… its a bug.
What happens is that it says on your screens that someone quit the race at the beginning. But that person didnt actually quit. they are still racing but you cant see them. then at the end of the race it puts them in the spot they actually are in your race but you could not see them until the end.
This has happened to me several times with friends. We were in chat and they said “hey tone you quit?” and I said “no, why?” they responded “Because it says you quit on my screen”. then at the end of the race they could see my car and my place.
