Hi there. I was just racing in a league race and was in first place by quite a distance. During the race I was listed as 1st out of eight, suddenly at the end of the race, prior to completion, I suddenly became 2nd out of nine, with nobody passing me. Is there a leaderboard bug?
This happened the other day to someone I was racing with final he was about to cross the line and started saying how great he was but I’d already pasted him a lap before then he saw I’d come first at that time in game chat worked he reckons he couldn’t see my name or my car but I could see him

That’s the only explanation I can think of too. The weird thing is that it started with eight and finished with nine players, and the guy in front of me did not show up on the track map either. Has this happened to anybody else?
This happens all the time. Was there a car sitting at the start finish line during the race for you? I suspect the answer is yes. The best us when you can’t see other people you are in a party with but they can see you. A friend and I had an epic race like this on the Daytona oval with him being able to see me but I couldn’t see him. He basically acted as my spotter to keep us from wrecking while swapping the lead back and forth
There definiely was a car at the start finish. I didn’t take much notice of it though as there has been AT LEAST one car at the start/finish of every race I’ve been in. Are those cars actually racing and you just dont see them moving? Whats the deal with those cars?
This happened to me and my party friend last night.
We we’re on yas I was in first and my friend said he’s was behind me about 100 yard back but to me he was invisible in my mirror and he wasn’t on the position/distance board in bottom left corner. It only showed me and third no second.
I slowed down and told my friend to pass me it still showed me in first place. It wasn’t until the race finished that he popped up in first place.
Also parked on the start line every lap was a mx5 out of our garage with one of our paint jobs on it funny thing is neither of us we’re driving that car in that race.
I can only presume it’s one of the many things wrong with this game.
We left that lobby and joined another which was fine for the rest of the session.
Same thing here sort of…was in a party with my friend directly in front of me. He asked me where I was and I said I’m right on your back bumper in 4th and said no, I’m in 4th and I don’t see you. I looked at the top left of the screen and it said I was in 4th but the list of driver/position further down the HUD had me in 5th and my “official” finish was 5th. Definitely a glitch that needs addressing
It is a weird lag / connection glitch.
I have had it in previous games with friends where we have been in a party together but can not see each other on the track.
