Nothing wrong with your priorities, would be great if he would actually play as well.
But father son activities and teamwork should always come first!
So, Iāll go ahead and say it. Any tune Iāve shared before these started is probably crap. It took until really looking and trying to actually see that the bump and rebound adjustment, after 7 motorsports and 5 horizons are switched in the tuning menu. Bump was always on the bottom, rebound on top. So my first tunes are tuned backwards and it shows! Lol
haha. just a little swerve from T10ās attention to detail and continuity team
was it the first bump going uphill on maple valley where you caught a lot of air that got you looking into bump/rebound more?
Sorry,
Can someone please clarify as Iām bit confused as to what people mean above.
Am I to understand in Rivals mode you need to pit to apply soft compound tires and minimum fuel? I would have thought that happened by default no?
Itās in the main menu before you start the race in rival
Go to car
Tire/fuel is bottom option
5% fuel and soft tires click A
Starts race
Youāre not the only one, in fact I didnāt know until you just posted this. Guess Iāll have to flip all my tunes moving forward.
I have now used three of Chronics tunes and all three have this āno engine soundā bug - 1991 BMW, Mercedes 190E and the Chrysler Valiant from the last HLC. I am guessing there is some common Performance Upgrade to these tunes ? I have not tried any others. To get the sounds I used the same method as the Valiant. Load a tune, any tune with the appropriate PI - Quick upgrade ie easiest, go to Rivals, Start the race, drive for a few seconds, exit, select Race Next Rival, go to Tune Car and load Chronics tune, then Start Race and sound is good. It is kinda painful to have to do this every time - hopefully it gets fixed sometime soon. I suspect that there is an issue with one specific upgrade and that it will show up in other peoples tunes as well but I donāt have any data to confirm this. Also Thanks to all the people who replied to my question regarding Car Categories.
To my knowledge its a certain engine swap, this broke my Valiant, as now, no matter what tune i use, it is not having engine sounds anymore. Hope they will fix this soon.
Itās the 3.2 L swap itās broken on every car but at same time itās one of the best engine swaps in the game I hate it but ya all 3 of those cars have the same engine swap
Proved to be more difficult than I thought. Could usually find a decent tune out of anything in previous versions. Couldnāt even crack the 1:40ās.
Switched to another car I like - 1990 Vauxhall Lotus Carlton. Looking more promising.
I went out of maple valley full and into the shorter track with a different car, and the sound came on. Then changed into the 91 BMW with a chronic tune and the sound was good again.
Then back into the right Maple Valley Full track and voilĆ , sound all good
. The fact that I was singing Jolene by dolly parton, standing on one leg with one sleeve rolled up is all coincidental.
Lol, it just handled really weird. Very loose. Glad i figired it out. Still not shooting to the top but that part is on my driving.
Dont have a Porsche leveld up, but i have my Vauxhall in the high 37“s, might have another second in me with that car, i guess a better driver could take it to a 34-35. I will stick with my Vauxhall, before setting a final time in the 00 Cobra
Not trying to complain here but last week it had chronics tune as what i used. I downloaded it. Didnt use it. Now again its showing ive used his tune and i havent. I again downloaded it. Still didnt use it. So there has to be a bug. Not trying to put anyone out because there are some great and mad fast people here. But the tuning rewards may be slighly slanted here by a bug in game. I set my time in my shared tune. Shared it. Then even loaded my tune. Then proceeded to set my fastest time. And it shows as if I used chronics tune.
Would be easier to handle in A Class if it were a regular Holden.
BRB literally going to rerun every rival time Iāve ever done.
I mean it may not be worth that much time but seriously.
Iām tempted to go back and run another time in Yas using your tune to see how much faster I could have went
I still havenāt beaten my Formula Mazda time on Maple Valley. I did a run with the Porsche 944 Turbo S with a time of 1:36.813. However not sure how to present the time. This is a picture of the end time in Rivals however it doesnāt show the car (this was a clean lap but in Rivals it seams to post the fastest lap regardless of clean or dirty. In Tuning mode it will come up with car and time as previous Forza games.
Anyway hopefully i can post a faster time than 1:36.452 (Formula Mazda time), however I have limited time this week.
2 different Porsche 944 Turbo S tunes are shared , if anyone wants to try. I use Wheel if that helps wheel drivers.
A test 1 (slightly under steer)
A test 2 (more neutral and perhaps better turn in)
Ugh, my Camaros are kinda slow, easily beat my time in Chronics '05 M3 by half a second. Looking at the LB it appears the Cobra R is crushing it.
I would love to see a killer m3 tune, considering theres two in 12th and 13th globally. It would be nice to take it to them. Iāve tried hooking up a M3 tune myself but I cant work out the perfect balance between the cambered turns in S1 & S2 , and the flatter turns up top on S3. if anyone creates a killer m3 that can get on the power early let me know and I will run it .
Sidenote: I noticed in the replay for the M3 in 12th itās running a naturally aspirated engine so probably the stock inline 6 block @ 412BHP
